@@guillermoortiz1492 as long as your not going anywhere extremely hot. The cooler does just fine. For example i went to laughlin weather was 114 degrees ice only lasted maybe 8 hours. But I refilled with ice at my house weather was 80 and ice did last 3 days.
@@outlaw8388 Did you prechill the cooler? I like to throw in some frozen water bottles overnight. I also use Yeti Ice at the bottom and it helps greatly.
Rotomold coolers like Yeti are so overrated and criminally overpriced. They're too heavy and small capacity inside. I love these Igloo BMX coolers. 52 quart, 5 days ice is more than sufficient for my camping needs and the price is right.

I put window gasket tape to the lid (3/16” wide) and get 3-4 days with the ice. Makes the BMX a excellent cooler for the price.
For only $109 cant beat it!

Do you have any mount or how you secure it in you maverick. ?
I dont have it mounted on the back of my car, i just use this when i go out on trips. I have a wing on my car and it will not open if I mounted…
