Hank has been on stage since 1957. That's 62 years. That's incredible!
Thats a bad fucking man is what that is.
Theran Goodale Hes the last Jedi. The last great southern outlaw
He's actually 71 but yup he's the man
Wayne Williams the 62 years I mentioned was not his age. It’s how long he’s been doing this.
Legend
I saw Hank Jr. in concert just last year (2022) and he still puts on just as great of a show now as he did then. Can't wait to see him again in just a few weeks.
The best entertainer in the business. Started seeing him in concerts in 1968. Always the best concerts.
ALWAYS 100% !!!
68? Man you've missed a lot
Without a doubt my favorite country singer. When he and Kid Rock sing together it is epic.
Search CMT's Giants Tribute to Hank Jr. Kid Rock slays the opening song. Lots of great tributes particularly Alan Jackson covering Blue's Man.
It’s amazing how Hank JR totally went his own way, determined to make his own legacy, and ended up being bigger and better than his Dad. His dad was the king and he’s great….but JR surpassed him in every way. Jr is a better vocalist with a wide range of singing ability. He plays every instrument on stage like a pro. He wrote more hit songs. Most of all JR learned how to live longer than his Dad. I’m not taking away from his great dad, I LOVE Hank SR, but JR deserves the recognition that he surpassed his dads talent AND legacy. Add the mountain fall to the equation and it’s almost super human that JR was able to come back like he did! I think as a whole package JR is the most talented country music artist to ever live
Agreed!
Helps that he spent his youth trying to emulate his dad so he learned a wide variety of skills he wouldn’t have had if he went straight to rock n roll country. For example, he can yodel like a natural
He tells it like it is,,He loves American people and our American flag and is PRO 2ND
Hank Williams Jr. will never be as good as his father. His father is still played to this day. Only time will tell if he is played as long after his demise as his father was!
Agreed! I feel he learned how to create hits by playing his dads songs all those years.
Hank Jr is a force of nature, consummate musician and pure showman. I've been to several shows of his since 1981.. Every one of them memorable. He makes every attendee feel special.
Saw him 5 times in Nashville in the 80s Never disappointed.
Still listening to this legend in 2024 baby🎉🎉
Had this concert on VHS use to watch all the time. One hell of a show.
When I saw Hank Williams Jr perform in Augusta GA there was a huge rainbow that stretched across the entire city. I’ve seen a lot of concerts in my day but that was absolutely the greatest I’ve attended I absolutely loved it! God Bless Bocephus!
Gees this was back when people love this country 🤠

Hank Jr, Waylon! none better!
I've seen Hank JR 19 times since 83 and never seen a bad concert. I was in high school and wore a different Hank JR shirt everyday. Rock on Hank JR.
I remember watching this on Pay-Per-View back in 1989 when I was 7 years old. I haven't seen it since then. It's still as amazing as I remember it being and it brings back a ton of memories. Thanks for posting this.
Love you Hank, it's a family tradition.

how is there a single dislike for this video? some kid stumbles upon it and doesnt understand the magnitude of the impact bocephus has had on the entire country music world...dont dislike it, just mosey onto the next rap video that will mold your brain into something that wont last in your soul. thanks
I had the pleasure of seeing Hank in concert many times thanks to a very wealthy college roommate that loved Hank. This show is about the time Highway 101 and Georgia Satellites would be the opening acts. What a show we enjoyed.
Saw him a few summers in the NJ area in late 80s
I never missed one of his concerts from 1986 to 2004 I still have every one of the t shirts for each one the don't fit any more but still have them
I’ve seen him 5 times since 2005 and will see him again in September. I would’ve loved to seen him in this era though. Great show!
One of the most talented musicians I’ve ever seen. So crazy how he plays every single Instrument so well. Such a great performer too, never a dull or boring moment throughout this entire concert.
Thanks. You saved me the trouble of having to justify his greatness
Thank you for sharing this great concert! Stay happy and healthy and God bless
Great concert, thanks for sharing. Hank Je is very talented!!!
I saw hank jr in the summer of 1979 on his whiskey bent and hell bound tour at redrocks colorado , he was wild at that time period , it was the cocaine cowboy day's 😉hanks energy was insane !!! A dam good concert !!! Worth every penny ! Get this tickets were $ 13 dollars G.E 😊
One of the greatest things that Hank Williams ever did for music was impregnating Mrs Audrey with this boy. You ARE da man Bocephus!

Hank can I tell you something
Hank sr and you are one of a kind just like Shannon I've followed you from whiskey Bent and hellbound back in 1979 that was my first 8 track yah and the Williams family is nothing but is all different in there music but everyone is remarkable in how they keep it country Miele and your dad and mother is smiling down
This is for the Randal Williams Jr family we all love what you have done ...
Hank I really appreciate your music it's about time you show your number 1 fan's that you will always be going Hank I can't be number one fan because you have so many around the world my hat's off to Randal Williams!!
Killer band he toured with. Man I remember being a freshman in college and a couple guys I met were music majors, percussion to be exact. One of them bought Hank Jr live and was kept bragging about this drummer, how tight he was. Pretty sure it was this one, if this is the live album they actually packaged for sale back in '88 I believe.
My brother-in-law went to Carbondale Illinois College so how cool knowing Hank Jr played there amen
Man what a fabulous fantastic sound .... I LOVE HANK WILLIAMS I , ll and lll man what a talented family !!
Thank you Bocephus, Thank you, Ronnie Van Zant. Thank you lord for making me a southern man
I miss the days of good music.
I watch this almost everytime so drink...23:15 Tuesdays gone....my song
I'm from Carbondale IL and sad to say but they don't have acts like this at the arena anymore.
Hank jr is the man!
I seen him in Texarkana Texas, well you know Texarkana and Arkansas and Louisiana connect. I live in Queen City Texas. I was raised in Louisiana ,Cajun country Lake Charles,Sulphur. Love ya Hank Jody Keister
What can't he touch and play Hank Williams is the greatest showman jam sorry I have never seen him in Australia
Hank Jr Was Voted The Best Country Artist Of The 70s And His Record Sales Proved It.
I was at the show ive seen hank about 10 times starting in the 80s
I saw him around this era. Can't remember if it was before or after. He was with the Kentucky Head Hunters in Edmonton. I was pretty young. He was drunk off his ass. Had front row seats and still am so happy I got to see him drunk or not.
Best concert I have seen of Hank Jr.
Hank knows his history..
I recorded this concert on paperview. It was taken from Carbondale, Illinois. Hank rules
Hi. Hoping you will help me. My friend Carol Borison's husband Bradley Borison (Event TV) Produced this concert for Hank. The copy of the tape was lost. Is there any way I can arrange to get a copy of it including the credits?
Waylon Jennings walked out because no one would stand for him. He did not care about the fans. Hank did the complete show. I was there with Carol Ann Borison, producer Bradley Borison's wife. We sat on stage and it was the best concert I ever attended. The concert was a great hit.
Love it. I made it until sweet home before I had to have a drink. Lol
I remember your father , Hank Williams unforgettable...
Man Hank Williams III sounds unreal so upbeat so awesomest
Hank III rules!!!
Before I die, I want to see this man in concert. Just once.
Best concert you'll ever see
Not as good anymore. He used to come on stage and shoot off rifles into the ceiling and shit 😆
Me too my friend... Me too
And that is good!!!?
@@timkooper
@@timkooperbahaha I would luv to see that
Hank Williams Jr. is a ICON and a hottie. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I absolutly love Hank, but I wish he would perform the songs the way they were recorded, at least the more country 70s early 80s ones. My uncle Mack was friends with him and wrote some songs for him.
I really wish I could see him perform Brothers of the Road, or Finders are Keepers. Not enough variety.
Down to earth country man !!!
This is Badass America ❤
Yes he does it just like it is he sings Just like it is he's going to beautiful voice very sexy smile and I love everything about him he's a god gift man Hazel straight out person he's truthful he's honest and yes he seems better than his dad did and his new CDs are all about his feelings and that is beautiful you can only keep watching videos and hearing him sing and it makes you happy the way he plays all his instruments how he acts funny and silly and crazy when he comes out on stage the way he talks he is the world of a man
I think this video has the only clip of him singing Lone Wolf on the internet. Always been a favorite of mine. Wish he sang it more often
Bradley Borison. Event TV produced this concerts. Waylon Jennings was to appear but walked off. Hank said the he'll with it and did the show by himself. A great concert
I have not forgotte Hank.....I'm dropping by 2022..
The greatest country music entertainer of all time! Nobody is even close. George Strait couldn't even carry Bocephus' hat to the arena.
Garth Brooks?
I gotta say, back then he kicked ass.
That's fckin awesome Travis Moore. You are right as rain. I saw him live in the 80's I loved it when he fired off the double barreled shotgun
Travis Moore I agree bocephus is the best entertainer ever in country music. Some say garth Brooks but I heard garth get ask in an interview back some time how he got so good and he said he went to alot of hankjr concerts.
Lol, Garth Brooks? Are you serious? That pussy couldn't wear Hank Jr's socks
A great concert 042024❤😊
I’m so glad you posted this!
Saw him in Huntsville Alabama more than once, Birmingham, Alabama, and Florida!
What a voice and showman. Hell of a picker too. Got to see him but was one of his Bad days lol. Was not worth the money but hey i did get to see him.
Me too. Lol! In Edmonton with the Kentucky head hunters. He was drunk off his ass. He wouldn't let the last song end. It kept going on and on and on and on. I had to pee so bad but didn't leave until he was done. Haha
thanks for posting this, brother!
Da man Hank Jr
Oh hell yeah
*Hank❤Jr*
I watch and listen to this at least once a week and drink beer after work but, why the delay on voice to sound? There was this same show on CZcams but it's gone? It doesn't start until young country..Idk why it happens jw..
I've been looking for this video forever! My childhood! Too bad it's a bit out of sync, though.
The best ever period.
My brother set me up on my birthday the wrist birthday of my life
Hank !!!!
Awesome drummer!
Awesome upload love it
Hank you are the man under jesus of course bama bred love you
I wish I would have seen Bocephus in concert in the 80's man the shows seems like fire.,
There are artists that have played "country-rock" ( Waylon instantly comes to mind😊)! Hank plays "country metal"!
Just listen again what a fucking awesome show
Sound needs to be synched with picture.
Love him forever
Great concert.
Love ya man!
Yeah bad ass hank
😅I love it all the time
Freaking awesome!!
What double standards, What hypocrites the dems are. espn fired this man for using the word "nazi " yet everyday I see these turds calling my president (Donald J Trump) every vile word you can think of with no consequenses
23:19 my favorite song Tuesdays gone❤
The best!
I love it when he does Skynyrd
