Those pegs giving out is bananas.
Trick I found that sets them in place pretty good. Give the pegs a generous spray of water from your bottle. Seems to have always helped me secure them in place for the game.

I only started playing hockey last season. In the meantime and thanks to your videos I have been able to learn a lot but every now and then it still feels like I'm skating on bananas when I step on the ice.

I understand the rule and the spirit of the rule, but in this instance, I think it's bananas that the goal counted, because I think if the net was still on, the puck would have hit the post and stayed out.
Goal counts when the net is dislodged by the defending team during the process of scoring. The rebound off the boards goal is a tough one. Have to track it all the way. I make the same mistake. Bananas!

Have had issues with pegs have been tempted to buy my own pegs piranha pegs have been the ideal ones I've seen for the price .

Those weak pegs on the nets were bananas. Makes post integration difficult.
I had a crazy game last week and let in a couple goals and they drove me bananas because I should of made the saves
little trick I do for the ice surfaces that have a hard time holding in pegs. When I warm up I will kick a bunch of snow up against the posts and then spray the posts with my water bottle. this helps keep stuff in place to an extent. obviously if you push hard off the post the net is going to move. I do find this does help a little bit for those surfaces that just dont hold the peg well though.
I, too, go bananas when the pegs won't hold! Try putting water from your water bottle to freeze them down. It does help some. Keep up with the great content 👌

Take a couple squirts from your bottle to the bottom of the post. Helps freeze in the pegs. Loose pegs drive me bananas.

Yeah the fact the goal came off and still counted is bananas, including the to many men not counting. If that puck would've hit the skate of the player standing it should count. So not sure why it wouldn't for the guy that came out for him.

You should buy yourself a set of Anchor Pegs! Got myself a set a few years ago and the net NEVER comes off anymore. You can even push off of the pegs without it coming loose.
