I write as a huge Pink Floyd fan and have been so from their first formation as a band... The cover version here by my newly discovered band Fleesh is simply put sublime... I am discovering all their songs are this good.....
Another Brazilian project called Zawajus covers this one spectacularly. Brilliant Lead vocals by Dudu Fileti and a great guitarist, keyboard player and choir.l

I love Pink Floyd and also Fleesh - newly discovered a year ago with their cover of Marillion's Season's End. This is the only other best cover of The Turning Away. Superb

I'm a gigantic Pink Floyd fan for almost 40 years, since i was a kid. They are head and shoulders my favorite band, and David Gilmour my undisputed nº1 guitar hero and inspiration. On The Turning Away and Comfortably Numb are like, holly to me....
Your cover/tribute is amazing, it has the epic-ness and gigantic-ness of the original. I love how you respect the original while still giving a little bit of your own identity to it. 😉
I also love the detail on the solo, giving those little dives into the note with the tremolo, like David does. Being a musician and also playing guitar (along with other instruments), i remember practicing that for years to get it right just like David's... 😁

Doing justice to a Pink Floyd song is far harder than just learning how to play it.
That is the band that made me want to be a musician when I was a kid. I wanted to be a part of something greater than the sum of it's parts, and you guys captured that greatest facet of their music beautifully.

I have attended several Pink Floyd concerts in my time, I own most of their albums, this song was one of the first that I can remember listening to as a very small child and I have to say you sing it as an angel soothing a lost soul! Good Bless you sweet angel!
