It’s simply got to have a larger dev team than Starfeild for such quality.

This update has had me playing this and now all my friends have it. It is so strangely deep and shows such a good grasp of game design I want more from this dev. The game just works.
Olanky never reading how things work after the first few words is the best. Gets a thing, spends all his money on wasted booze lol.
so happy with the new update so far, having already beating death with every class in the game prior to the update, i was amazed at how much more there still is to do and discover. and glad i get to see you play through it all too, excited for more!

Edit: ps. 10 fingers/1 ring is silly af, I'd have to agree 😂 I never understood when games choose to let the player equip just one ring only. It's terribly silly, & I'm just glad you said something about it
Hahahaha, yeah. I myself, use like six rings. And two are in the same finger. Blows my mind. Maybe because they tend to be too overpowered, if they're more simple maybe we could get more ring slots 🤔

Your first Knight run has been more interesting and more fun than all 6 of my ranger/archer runs. I may have to try knight and see if it's the class or my luck.
My most fun Archer run is when I rerolled the first boss rewards and got orange boots that would shoot out dust devils that would go attack monsters when I dashed or sometimes randomly while I moved around. Felt super lucky. I haven't seen any +4 gear yet or Brocolli (+3 DEX). I've only made it to floor 7 or 8 though.
You can usually interact with more than one thing in event rooms, unless it clearly sets out what you're going to get before you get it. You don't have to leave as soon as you check one thing! You're missing out on items that even if you don't want to wear them, you might sell them.
the gambling machine is almost always worth playing until it breaks.
also, it would be cool for the offhand slot to have a second weapon, and have the 2 handed weapon buff where it makes them one handed, it be really cool

I think it's because they're harder to dodge with, but mechanically they seem at a good level. They make for entertaining videos

Hey olexa, i wanted to recommend a roguelike that i just discovered and think you havent played, its called ScourgeBringer, its like isaac if it was a hack and slash (it even has a combo meter) i was so surprised playing it, its so underrated i dont know how it flew under the radar (for me at least)
Lemme know if it sounds interesting (or if you already played it! Couldnt find anything online)

@@ZolDubs you should! The only thing pushing back the game a bit in my single digit hours of playtime-opinion is the limited modding (it has official tools, but kinda limited and also no steam workshop lol)

I love the idea of using the soulsborne stat scaling, so you can find weapons that reward you for specing into 2 stats instead of rawdogging just pure STR/DEX/INT
I think at 34:51 you can bomb the X mark tile in top right corner? To uncover the hidden basement

i mean, ik you have the new save file for the vids, but im that kind of person who would have my og save file just to mess around, mainly like an update like this, just to get a feel of how the games revamp works

do you think this game would play well on controller ?
It plays well on controller! I play m+KB when I'm home sometimes but my hands hurt frequently, and controller works perfectly. totally possible to be successful at tiny rogues with a controller, there's also your choice of high aim assist so you can focus on the dodging or full right stick aiming(plus aim+shoot as an option too!) For twin stick shooter style.
