  • I tear down a 2000 Polaris Trail Boss 325 to try get to the bottom of a lean-running issue.

    I have a 2000 Polaris 325 the piece up front you was saying it’s a shut off. it’s a diaphragm vacuum operated fuel pump not a shut off valve. Put a new one on and hook it back up and your lean problem’s fixed 😉

      Yes, that's good info. I did eventually figure that out later that year.

    Bro can you let me know if you found the problem to why it cuts off when you give it throttle I have one here giving me that exact problem

      In my case, it was a carburetor tuning issue. To get it to run better, I had to hook the vacuum fuel pump back up and then go with a leaner jet size.
