Shazia had a case to answer in the boardroom - and she didn't defend herself well enough at all. I didn't think she should have gone, but this is The Apprentice, and if you don't defend yourself, you're gone.

    Shazia's errors -
    1. She left early (after informing Project Manager Jenny), to secure irons, for the team, which ultimately resulted in chaos, lost 2 T-Shirts that reduced the team's winning margin by 50 pounds.
    Jenny's errors -
    1. She let the key person incharge of labelling, to leave to secure irons, that resulted in chaos and lost 2 T-Shirts....when just about anyone else could have gone.
    2. She quoted the hotel 5000 pounds for washing worth 200 pounds, resulting in them not winning the sales pitch.
    3. She charged the fishmonger 15 pounds for 60 pounds worth washing.
    4. She bullied Lucinda.
    5. She let her team allow rubbish sales pitches like 24 hour hotline, instead of working on the pricing.
    6. In boardroom, she tried to deflect blame and accused Shazia of being "manipulative" and "lying", which she wasn't guilty of.
    Worst decision ever!!

Shazia left the laundry because her product manager allowed her to, therefore she should not have been fired. If only Shazia knew the system, then Jenny would not have allowed her to leave.
Plus, Jenny was an absolutely horrible project manager and lost control of the team. One of the worst decisions in the UK series to this date.

What I love about this show is how it's usually the overconfident, arrogant tossers who get a reality check at some point. Either in the tasks or in the interviews. You need confidence in business, but you also need to be able to fucking back it up sunshine.

Ian Stringer was a diabolical leader in Week 3. But in the past two weeks in the process, he was always contributing. Kevin Shaw had barely done anything in the past two weeks, but in the third task, he decided to take control of the kitchen in the pub and it failed really bad. Ian’s management was crap, but Kevin’s management was equally crap.

Shazia shouldn't have been fired but bad decisions like that do happen when someone doesn't defend themself properly. I'm pretty sure Alan doesn't actually watch the video footage and only relies on either Nick or Margaret to learn what has happened.

till now, i still think sir alan is an idiot for faulting shazia for the mix up... following instructions is very easy... she went home because she thought of using the irons from the house and that was discussed with jenny the project manger... when shazia told sir alan about that, i think sir alan was thinking about something else and not listening...

The decision in week 2 was right; In business, when your boss gives you a task to do, they expect it done. You can delegate the task to someone else, but at the end of the day, you are responsible,as far as the manager is concerned you are in charge of getting the task done - you can do it yourself, or ask someone else, but if it is not done, you are accountable

The laundrette task was hilarious. First for women losing to men - the men kept it simple and that's why they won they were like right, label em, wash em, dry em, send em. The women designed this whole 20 step process that was bound to go wrong.
And then how do you lose people's items? You can dry clean clothes for about 30 years and I guarantee you - you will have your launderette lose or fuck up an item probably less than 5 times total in that time. In 10 years it has not happened to me once. They log each item in a book when it comes in and then they know exactly what it's for when they've washed and dried 30 customers different items that day because the chances of there being a suit jacket with the exact same measurements, material and trim is like... fucking 500000 to 1. I own 12 suits and I have never seen anyone in any of the same 12 suits. The same style or designer? yes. The exact same suit? no.

  • @dachronicalalittlebitofeve6630

It’s like men who brag about how tough they are….. they are the ones who get their ass handed to them.
The real tough guys other people tell each other about when they see him or his name comes up… “oh JP, he’s a total badass”
They se that have to tell you how amazing they are stink of desperation because they don’t have the confidence in their abilities to let them speak for themselves.
Results do the talking; the type of bragging that we see for me only demonstrates a lack experience and actual knowledge of the industry they want to succeed in, ridiculous.
Some of the best people didn’t come from private schools and universities but left school at 15 and have worked ever since.
They are see genuine reactions written across peoples faces and it’s why you can read people, just takes having allot of meetings, working on a market or in a pub is a great way to see people especially working in a pub, you see them come in, get all drunk over time and see the changes in attitudes and moods just be looking around you.

This whole show is just embarrassing. In the original US version, the candidates (who were already extremely well qualified) were sent out to run swimming pools and golf courses for a week. Serious challenges for serious applicants. In this El Cheapo UK version, you have these clueless wannabes with no experience being sent out to make pizzas and sell nic nacs.
And they deliberately chose idiots who they knew would be good entertainment, not good business people.

I've always said that the apprentice is one of those shows where candidates will be turned down for appearing too competent. It's a tv show first and foremost and the viewing figures would be much lower if it was a group of skilled business people who got on with each challenge and worked well in a team.
They seem to pick out narcissists, liars, people who have gone bankrupt before and other flawed individuals because putting them in a group and watching them cock up is television gold.

    • @EzraMerr
      @EzraMerr Před 5 lety +13

As far as I know Apprentice is originally from UK , an no Swimming Pools and Golf courses are already set up businesses with regular customers. Sir Allen Suger grinded himself through his early years to be where he is now, due to dedication , quick witt, and fast trading... all crucial business skills. These tasks are what separates the real bosses from the silver spoon ass kissing managers occupying a swimming pool or golf course. Why do you think 40% of the Global Economy are proxies owned by UK , The city of London is it's own territory within UK, they have always been running the world in the shadows , even when they "lost" their Empire. It's called redirecting opinion; when shitty 3rd world world nations dont have imperials to blame for their problems anymore the shift their blame towards the Nation that seems to be the most dominant, even if UK secretly manages other nations, America will appear stronger thanks to media and propaganda , thus UK can carry on with it's shadow empire whilst people constantly blame America for their problems.
