Yes please!! Linear vs. Angular!!
Linear vs Angular please
Having bicep tendonitis for years, I've moved to a general warming up of the shoulder / bicep and a slight stretching as my remedy. Blood is a natural healer.
I have been shooting barebow 3 years and just developed the front shoulder pain. Been searching videos and yours is the only one to explain it thoroughly if at all! I'm replaying the open to square draw and they look the same to meeeeeee! Argh! Love your sense of humor. So yes open vs square!
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the video!
Open vs. Square draw is on the list :)
Quick survey:
How long have you been shooting, and have you ever experienced bicep tendinitis?
Superb..Same problem with mine..in archery practice..Wel and great Guidence by this vedio...Thanks lot thank u so much...
Linear vs Angular!
Finally! This happened to me about two years ago and I looked all over CZcams for a solution but nothing quite addressed what I was feeling or where it was.
Yes please on linear vs. angular.
But also one question on tendonitis. I have a slight pain just likd the one you are describing, but in my front shoulder. And I can't find out how am I causing it. I even tried working the form with the heaviest tube I have hoping to make it push thd spot, but no success. Any idwas what am I doing wrong?
If it's the bow arm, and you can't replicate it with a theraband but you feel pain with the bow, then it's likely caused by the mass weight on the bow. Try reducing weight on your stabilisers to see if it makes a difference.
Also, and I can't stress this enough... go see a physio to get a proper diagnosis.
having suffered with "frozen ahoulders" (not archery related), I can tell you I'd rather be kicked in the jewels than have a shoulder injury again!
Currently fighting with it. 2 months already, another 1 or 2 more to fully finish treatment. But I pushed through pain for 2 years so it's understandable it takes so long. Tendon injuries are truly pain.
I feel you. Years ago I pushed through the pain because of a lack of patience and regret it. To this day my biceps tendon flares up very easily...
But it sounds like you're on the right path! I hope that you found this video helpful.
@@RogueArcheryTV I only found about it and this video after diagnosis. Alone I would never know it was tendon issue. I thought I have had sore muscle or something. At least I know now which habits might have had triggered it. A lot of shooting that one time and some bad habits when drawing a bow. So thank you for the information.
linear vs. angular! pull no punches.
Linear vs. Angular!! Please! I have to readdress all my positions until the loading position (I have a square position towards the target so that will be may first modification, but how does it reach the anchor position?) It feels like I do not know how to shoot anymore...
Absolutely!
Check out my other videos on the drawing sequence.
Shot process overview is a good one, and also the Coaching Case Study #1 goes through a lot of practical detail

I am having pain in my right shoulder bones. I am a right handed archer. Please have a look into my youtube shorts. I am unable to find a solution.
Looks like you have a pretty good drawing style, and live in some stunning country!
But look, I just did an almost 20 minute long video on a single injury, and the conclusion is "go see a physio".
I wont attempt to diagnose an injury online, and it's impossible to do so. You really need to go see a specialist who can help diagnose properly.
@@RogueArcheryTV Thank you. I appreciate it.
linear vs angular
You know if you want to have a business and get to know a beautiful and different country, you should open an archery academy in Guatemala, specifically in La Antigua Guatemala. I'm just saying that, because I would go and take classes! 😅😉🤗🏹🙌🏻✨
I am currently visiting the Solomon Islands 🇸🇧 for a training camp, and soon maybe going to Japan 🇯🇵.
I would love to visit Guatemala, so if youre open to coordinating a training camp with some archers, please get in touch!
@@RogueArcheryTV Heeeeyyyy I hadn't heard about Solomon Islands and Japan, how cool, and I find it super, I would like to get started in this sport but there are only 2 academies in the country and they are very far from where I live but yes it would be great 😁🏹🇬🇹
@@emiliaherrera1212 why not start a club in your area?
@@RogueArcheryTV I would like to see that happen, 🤗🤩 but archery is not a very popular sport here so there are not many who practice it and there are few who teach it. 😕
@@emiliaherrera1212 are here is popular everywhere in the world where people have an opportunity to practice it. If you start a club, you will start to see people join you. Maybe slowly at first, then over time who knows!
That's how I started Rogue Archery. It used to be 1 person.
