Which wedding guest dress option is your favourite? I can't decide.
Hope you're all doing well. 💖
Option 2 definitely all the fall colours really beautiful
OMIGODDD...!! With your figure and those fab dresses, each and every one looks AMAZING...!! Decisions, Decisions...🤔❤
2 🤗
For a wedding... I would say number 3.
I think number 1 makes you seem naked.
I think number 2's red is too warm for you.
Number 3 is modest, serious and it suits you, you are amazing on that dress.
You won't be "the queen of night" but, everybody knows the bride must be "the queen of the night". I think the bride and the families will appreciate your modesty.
Women who want to "surprass the bride at her own wedding aren't seen as good people.
I think number 4 is glamorous and makes you a little bit naked (the blue at the bottom makes you less "naked" than number 1), but, it may be ok if the wedding isn't focused on modesty.
I think number 5 is too flashy (it can drawn the atention from the bride), too glamorous and the color is white (champagne white?). I think the dress is too close to a wedding dress. Is the wedding focused on glam? Is the bride ok with you wearing this?
Wearing red to a wedding in most cultures is a bad sign, it can mean you slept with the groom so BEWARE IF YOU WEAR THAT DRESS! But it is adorable I will say 👀❤️
2 if it’s a day wedding.
1 or 4 if it’s a night wedding.
5 is a New Year’s party dress.
Agreed!
I think option 5 will also be great for when she wins an oscar.
Agree if 2 isn’t too red & if it’s warm enough. I don’t think it would work with any kind of jacket or sweater & I don’t think a wrap would work in a cold day.
Also, 5 works for a night wedding, too - as long as it’s not Halloween where shiny things drive ravens, magpies and crows wild. 👻
Agreed
Agreed. 5 will take away attention from the bride. Beautiful, but not appropriate.
I love 5, but it's definitely a check-with-the-bride sort of dress imo 😂Not because it turns you into a disco ball (so fun!) but because the sort of champagne-y color is a very popular off-white bridal dress option, which, coupled with disco ball effect, can definitely lead to some drama :P
I only have seen this issue in White People's Gringo weddings. In other countries, guests are encouraged to dress the best they can.
AGREE
@@m1sh474 it's one of the few things that Americans dress up for these days. Most weddings are formal events
1 or 2 is my favorite. I like 5 for a different event
@@m1sh474That's garbage and you know it. That is seen as disrespectful and de lu lu. Gringo wedding....smh....so there are you and gringos in the world. Obviously only you didn't get the note about being disrespectful to the bride.
Option 2 is best for a wedding. Never want to outshine the bride, and cheerful, warm colors are perfect for weddings.
Definitely torn between 1 and 2, but it would really depend on the kind of wedding. A more formal, dress up wedding would be perfect for 1 where as an outdoor, more relaxed wedding would be great for 2.
Yep. Spot on. 😊
Personally, the 2nd dress is the best option as it's the most versatile. It can be worn during the day for the ceremony, and then, with a few accessories changes (earrings, jacket/ blazer, shoes), it can easily transform into an evening attire. Also looks the most comfortable and dance-friendly. 💃 Enjoy your friend's wedding. 😊
Dresses 1 and 4 are stunning, and my favourites overall, but I think too formal for a wedding. I agree that #2 is the best for a wedding, for all the reasons you mentioned.
Too formal for a wedding? Aren't weddingd by definition a formal ocassion?
@@missstripedsocks Not every wedding is a formal occassion, some people have very casual weddings and receptions, so that comes into play too. I don't want to be dressed to the nines in a formal gown with heels for a casual reception in someone's backyard. On the other hand, a reception in a fancy hall or special location probably calls for more formality.
I also want to be comfortable so that I can enjoy myself.
Option 2 is so fun! It can move when you dance. Option 5 is lovely but looks restricting if you dance. So the bigger question is: do you dance at weddings?
Love that red on her! Have to request more Red.
Sometimes people do at the reception also I liked the second one too
5 looks too much like a wedding dress, I liked #1
3 I think is good. It feels classy and it fits your face.
Option 3 with your hair down
I was going for 2 as most appropriate, but I'm living for 4.
I think 5 looks like something some sparking magpies might choose to wear on their own wedding day.
For a fall wedding, option 2 plays the best. They are all beautiful though.
1 is the most elegant, 2 is the most fun, and 5 is the most sparkly. I'd go between those three based on what mood you're feeling
Same thoughts! Not 3 or 4 for sure.
Exactly my thoughts. Any of them works for a wedding and it depends on what you feel like wearing. In this very moment I'd go with the reddy number 2.
I agree. I think it also depends on when the wedding is. 1 and 5 are more evening dress and 2 is more daytime
Completely agree. When she stepped out in 1, I was like "that is going to be hard to top." Then 2 was so beautiful on her. And then 5 made me think "I would definitely be drawn in by her dress."
How formal is this event? The red one is the most appropriate.
I'd go with 2. Red is a color of passion and love. It also matches the season. I would definitely wear 5 at New Year's. Gotta attract all the magpies for an unforgettable New Year's party!
1, 2, and 4 are gorgeous dresses. 5 is stunning but it's often the mother of the bride type dress or bridal dress sometimes. But I totally loved 4 over 1. You looked amazing in it.
Definitely dress #2. It's so bright and joyful! Which is a great mood to bring to a wedding! On the other hand, the black and white combo IS a little too much white. And the other dresses, while all very beautiful, look more like they would be better suited for a black or white tie event, or an evening at the opera. One must be careful to NEVER outshine the bride!!
And ironically when you mentioned night at the opera, I plan to have my very first night at the opera myself if the tickets to Barber of Seville don't get sold out by Friday for me to go to Sunday's 2:30 performance after church.
I love Dress #2’s bold colors and frilly silhouette. That’s my favorite.
#4 is perfect! Not too much and not too little!
Absolutely love the 1st and 4th dresses. They complement your figure without down-staging the bride. Good luck!!! P.S. love the stuff you post.
I love option 2. A wedding is a celebration, and that dress looks like a celebration.
2 really stuck out to me! Love the colors and fall theme
Definitely dress 2! It is red, no hints of white, classy, beautiful, and will definitely help you make friends!
Flippy floating red!!! Most flattering, says enthusiastic guest! Although it depends on the style of wedding, the red would match every dress code - and be great for dancing!!! ❤🎉
Option 1 for a classy indoor wedding. Option 2 for a warm outdoor wedding. They all look so awesome ❤
I agree!
4 is definitely the way to go for me, the sparkly one is gorgeous but might upstage the bride. 2 has the nicest shape especially for dancing, but the colors feel more summery than autumnal to me!
Exactly my opinion
I agree. And I think it may be too cold. That dress wouldn’t look good with a jacket or sweater and a wrap may not be warm enough.
I didnt expect everyone to love 2 as much as I do! Thought everyone would say 5, 4 is so elegant and could work !!
All the Phase Eights are gorgeous, but I think the first one is the best one. And damn girl it does all the right things for you while somehow remaining understated. Such a perfect purchase! ❤
Option 2 is probably the best choice so that you don't outshine the bride. Maybe option 4 if it is an evening or formal wedding. You look incredible in all of these dresses. Love them all.
I adore all the options but ultimately my vote goes to dress #2! It’s fun and vibrant, but not in a way that will detract from the bride as the main event. Plus I’m sure with your superb styling powers you’d be able to elevate the look even more ;)
the phase 8 dresses are so gorgeous, but the blue one has my heart 💙
Number 2 is definitely my favourite and I think the most wedding guest appropriate of them all! I also think it compliments you beautifully and the brightness odes to your bubbly personality ❤️
#2 seems like the best wedding option to me, but you, of course, look lovely in all of them.
I think option 2 is the best - flowy, fun to dance in, seasonal colours. With the way that bridal fashion has gone, I would honestly say all of the other ones are too bridal-looking to wear to a wedding.
Number two is my favorite! It’ll move when you dance and doesn’t come off like a performance gown.
They’re all spectacular! #4 is my vote for a wedding guest. Happy wishes to your friend!
I think 2 is the most wedding appropriate and looks really good. Not a fan of 3, and 5 is too much for a wedding imo. Love your style and how you rock it!!
Dress 2 is my favourite
I would say number 4! Classy, still fun, has a similar texture to the dress you wanted to wear originally on the bottom! And it wont overshadow the bride, but you will still look stunning!
I loved no 2 and 5. No 2 because it matched your energy beautifully, but attracting fellow magpies is always a great noble mission.
The red is the most flowly and would allow you to freely move. Number 5 made me go wow. Definitely save that where you can shine bright, but definitely not at a wedding as the bride will be upset unless you exclusively get permission from the bride.
For a semi-formal wedding option 2 definitely. For a formal wedding option 4. Option 5 is my favorite dress by far but wear that ONLY if the wedding specifically asks for over the top lavish dresses, it’s an absolute showstopper of a dress and you don’t want to out-dress the bride
Both 1 and 5 are absolutely gorgeous.
I love the movement of Option 2, but I am OBSESSED with how sparkly Option 5 is!
As soon as I saw number 2 I was just like “wow!” I knew that I would pick it even though I hadn’t seen all the options yet. They all look amazing, but man, number 2 just is so fun
I would say 2 unless it clashes with wedding colors, 4 if you need more neutrals. It's still formal and looks amazing on you but doesn't take attention away from the wedding party. 2's cut and style is more dressy casual but the colors just stand out. There's an old saying that if you wear red to a wedding you want to sleep with the groom!
I'm 50 years old and have never heard about wearing red. I think it's beautiful.
I don’t actually think that is an old saying.
I went looking for more info on that after hearing a story where the bride was freaking out about someone wearing a red dress and mentioned the groom thing, and the only source I could find on that claim was that one post, nothing else, so I think she might have made it up to justify being in a mood.
Unless you have a source on this, which I’d be interested in knowing about.
I've never heard this but it's as silly as saying if you wear green on Wednesday it means you're horny 😂 (that was an urban legend where I grew up lol)
In my country the bride changes into a red dress at midnight for a special dance so red as a guest is usually a no go for this reason.
In China red is the traditional color of wedding dresses.
I prefer the second dress.
It’s beautiful, elegant and colorful.
Option 2 is perfect for a wedding guest.
Now I do love the sparkles, but it’s leaning a bit too close to white (even if it isn’t white) and while perhaps not for traditional brides, I can easily see options 3 and 5 being some bride’s wedding dress, which is why they’re automatic nos for me.
I love option 3! You could wear that anywhere! And I’m sure you would get a ton of compliments. Wear it church or a play or law school or the office. So versatile!
And perfect job interview outfit! 😄
My vote is option 2! They're all such beautiful dresses, but as a wedding guest I myself would go with #2 ❤
Definitely the Karen Millen autumnal dress! Last one might outshimmer the bride, black and white one is too white, second phase 8 dress is too fancy for a guest, and the first one is also on the brink of being too wedding-dress-coloured (except for the black accents, obviously! But they all look GORGEOUS!!❤
I love the second dress. It has a fun, party vibe and you look gorgeous in red.
Well, honestly, you look good in every dress 😂
But option 1 is 😍
Please do the video where you finally choose the dress and match it with shoes, bag, and accessories. Would want to watch the final look
Number 5 is absolutely STUNNING, but my pic for this events would have to be 2, since it's fun and flashy without any risk of upstaging the bride, plus all those ruffles would just come to LIFE when you're tearing up the dance floor at the reception!
#2 is colourful and beautiful 😍. # 4 Looks very elegant
Those are all gorgeous but 4 is so mesmerizing ✨️
2 for a day time wedding and 4 for an evening wedding. All of them were beautiful!
Dress #2 is wonderful, lovely and colorful and exciting. It makes me think of a lovely, bright autumn day when the leaves are all red and yellow. It also doesn't distract from the bride I think, with the color being so different from white. And with the happy vibes that second dress brings out, I think it would signal happiness about the wedding to your friend. That's how i see it anyway! :)
I think 4 is your best option. Classy, swishy, and a lovely lace design. That, or option 1.
4 for a formal wedding, 3 for something more casual
2 is perfect for an autumnal wedding, and it doesn't take a lot of attention from the bride! Have fun!
I think only if those days of autumn are warmer. Not for colder climates
@@jade_purplegalaxy true
@@jade_purplegalaxy2 would also look amazing with a little blazer, if it is cold.
@@melissam8041I agree completely!
option 2 for sure! it's cute and colourful without being too formal (risking upstaging the bride or bridesmaids)
1 & 2 were best but they all wowed! GORGEOUS! Albie loved them all of course!
2 or 4, I prefer 5, because the colour is gorgeous and the pale blue goes well with a wedding because its blue enough to not interfere with the brides dress.
I think dress #2 is a great dress for a wedding. Some of the other dresses (while beautiful) look VERY formal. I guess it depends on how formal the wedding is going to be. The red dress looks fun and festive and is a good bet! (And it may be easier to dance in it.)
red = u slept with the groom
I learned the hard way-
They're all stunning but I think #2 & #3 are the most wedding guest suitable. Out of those 2, #2 is my favorite.
Think so too, the red really set off her dark hair, and it’s very attractive and moves well with her body.
1, 3, 4, 5 are all stunning, but 5 is Smokin' hot!! You should definitely wear #5!!
They're ALL so beautiful, but it's No. 4 for me.
I say #1! Beautiful while allowing the bride to shine brightest. ❤
I definitely think dress 4 would be a good choice. It's stylish without feeling too much. All the other dresses looked great in general.
seconding #4!!
Agreed!
100% agree!
#5! You look sleek and elegant, and there’s always the lovely crows to consider!😊
Option 4 made me go "OOOOO!" I think it's purr-fect! Just the right amount of swish at the bottom and it doesn't look as white as the first one. Plus sparkle can be added in a pair of chandelier earrings or bracelets/bangles and maybe a sparkly clutch in like a sapphire blue color!
Number 2 would feel nice for a wedding. It's fun and vibrant and red is usually a celebratory colour and associated with love ❤️
I like option 2 the best. It is so pretty, so seasonal and so fun! I like option 5 but I'm worried it would appear more white in pictures. If you choose that one do a test photo or two to eliminate that worry.
DRESS NUMBER 2!!! COLORFUL AND SWIRLY!!
Option 1 is my favorite for a wedding guest! It is beautiful!
I loved dress 2! It was so dramatic and beautiful and would be the exact opposite of a wedding dress but not black, which I was always told not to wear too.
I loved 5 too but its so light in color that it might be questionable to wear
Ive never heard that you shouldn't wear black to a wedding. I think ive worn black to every wedding ive been to lol, oops. Except the one i was in, all bridesmaids wore the same, head to toe, champagne colored, sequined dress. We called it the magic dress because we are all completely differently shaped and it flattered everyone. They were beautiful.
I REALLY love option 2!! It's fun and vibrant, but classy! And with some subtle (but sparkly!) jewelry it'd make for a very fancy look.
Option 1 is stunning! Option 2 if it’s more casual/daytime wedding
You look absolutely stunning in dress number one, but dress number five is the most fitting for the event, I think.
Depending on the style of the wedding, 2 or 4: 2 for casual yet classy, 4 for full formal. All the dresses were amazing, especially the Phase Eight, but those two won't upstage the bride or clash with wedding customs.
By the way: thanks to you, I've tried a little more with my clothes and even received compliments !! I'm a bit more confident in my taste and choices and experimented a bit ! Thanks a lot !!!!
This exactly 🥰
I agree entirely!
I really like the 4th option, but honestly you look gorgeous in them all.
#1 is my favorite. #2 depending on the vibe of the wedding
They’re all gorgeous!
#2 is probably the best option, unless it’s a formal evening wedding-then I vote for #1 or #4.
#5 is strictly a “party!!” dress.
If it's an evening wedding, I'd say 3 or 5, but that autumnal dress is PERFECT for a day wedding!! Seriously, though, you can't really go wrong with any of them. So gorgeous!
Depends on the style of the wedding too, but #2's fall look is gorgeous and seems fitting for a fall wedding! #4 was also gorgeous and looks fall/wintery.
*they were all lovely of course ;)
Number 3 is very beautiful and classy, with some accessories you will be stunning
Magpie dress. No contest. My second favorite was the red, because it's fun and looks comfortable, but it's warmer toned where you're cool.
Number 4 is absolutely beautiful on you. My favorite, although the other dresses were equally as stunning.
I love number 5, but it's a little close to white from what I can see, so I'd probably go option 4 instead
Number 1 is absolutely stunning. Looks like it was made for you.
I like the first black and white one
Option 2 would be great for a daytime or garden wedding. Option 4 is stunning though for a nighttime one!
1 and 2 are really good, but 4 is STUNNING! (I thought three looked a little too white on the top and too mother-of-the-bride in its cut)
I like all of the choices except for #5. (But #5 is stunning) While it is fun, the bride may consider that too close to white and an attempt to outshine her.
Option 3, hair up, dangling earrings and sparkly clutch bag is best.
It kind of depends on the type of wedding and reception, (how formal, day or night) but that first dress is an absolute stunner.
Option 2 is my favorite but option 4 is also fun. I like option 2 personally because it's loose and flouncy, has no sleeves, and has nothing that could get uncomfortable after being worn too long
Loving the phase 8 ones. Especially number 1. Timeless classics that scream, I'm going to snog the best man.
I personally like the first and fourth. But you look amazing in all of them
Option 4 is STUNNING - You came out in it and I literally gasped! It’s so good
#2 or #4 seem most wedding appropriate. The black & white color block is gorgeous and so is the sparkler, but perhaps better suited for a NYE black tie party. I think #1 says "look at me"...when it should really be about the bride as the center of attention. How lucky to have so many choices!
1 or 4 for evening, 2 if during the day. My favorite is 4, so unique! 5 seems more like a holiday dress
