Travelling Australia: Cooyar, Dalby and Moonie! Heading West!

- We head west out of Maidenwell towards Cooyar to grab a coffee from former Australian Super bike racer Garry McCoy’s history rich cafe! After this we keep heading west into Dalby for a restock and great walk around the Myall creek parklands!

Interesting ,vid , remember being in Dalby 1972 , as an older kid on holidays ,in our new hired Chesney van , then to Moonie ,down to Goondiwindi, onto NSW. Roof top tenting in storm good fun 😂, Yes Moonie Famous for yabbie races, I have been their for the races , 2008, I was working 30km south at feedlot. Excellent food at Roadhouse , Anyhoo, have fun , safe travels Cheers Bevan 🤠❤️🇦🇺

Glad you liked your brief time around the maidenwell and Dalby. The bunyas and lake Broadwater you would’ve enjoyed. Maybe next time. Looking a little different now since we’ve had this rain event. Enjoy your travels through the rest of south western Qld.

Great to see you again, I stumbled across McCoy's Café some years ago, great place and well set up, really enjoyed lunch there and the displays. Plenty to see in that area of Qld.
Was a great spot! Would love to get back up through there again!

nice episode.. be good to see the setup with the 270° awning u mentioned. even with sidewalls for a tent like weather proof setup

You can never go wrong with a pig on a spit!!!
Buy a good quality 270 degree awning, you won’t regret it
Unfortunately you are going to need to spend around $1600 but remember buy once cry once
An inverter element is a great idea, once you’ve brought it there’s no ongoing cost
