Fram vs Purolator oil filter comparison, let's see which one is best!! #wix #purolator #supertech #Fram #pennzoil #fram #purolator #supertech #pennzoil #wix
FRAM meets minimum OEM requirements. I used them for most of my life, until I saw how cheaply they are made. Went to OEM 25 years ago. Most made with metal end caps & silicon anti drain back valves.
I will say "I Wish All Spin Filters Had The TWIST GRIP"! No matter how HAND TIGHT you do it...still a bear to get it off with just the hands! Those suckers are sucked on tight.
@@stevenbettez2017 Why dont you quit lying? Who are you, Joe Biden? Cardboard frams have fallen apart and destroyed engines. That simply cant happen with a metal filter. I dont give a crap how long it was used, because its not an issue with metal construction
They both do the job. I like the FRAM GRIP.
Toss-Up......Depends on the price.
They each have their better parts for sure!!
I have always used Fram because of the grip. It doesn't seem to be much of a different than that.
They are just fine for 3-5 k oil changes

Depends on what OEM... Fram makes some oem filters... Check out my Honda vs Fram I posted a few years ago!!
I will always go with the Purolator when up against the orange can.

@markwarnberg9504 it is a nice feature for sure!!
Clearly the superior filter is the one NOT made out of cardboard!
I would agree
It’s not cardboard. And I’ve never seen a Fram fail
@@stevenbettez2017 It is cardboard and I have. So whats your point? That you are a Fram Fanboy? Congratulations.
@@Mach141 they all work fine “cardboard” or not. People just run them too long
