I'm a multi stan,and army.I can understand how people feel,SOME ARMY's feel like that.Well its their opinion,but people can't call all the armys toxic,they have never felt how armys feel.
ARMYs have done tons of stuff in BTS’s name. You can search up stats about their UNICEF campaign but just on that alone army have donated millions. ARMYs also do charity events for every members birthday, different ones across the globe that vary not just by country but by city. ARMYs have planted trees, created care packages for homeless youth, held canned food drives, etc. We’ve adopted and cared for species on the verge of extinction, helped create scholarships for underprivileged youth, so many different things. It’s truly incredible. I personally am always motivated to do better and give back to my community because of BTS, they inspire that kind of positivity in me because they themselves are always giving back to the less fortunate.

Fandom will always end up being toxic once it got big and popular, cause thats when kids, new kpop stans, clueless fans who thinks their favs are the best in general enters the fandom.
The latest examples being new jeans. Bunnies used to be quiet and wholesome. But suddenly they got loud and abnoxious once the group got popular. Its not that the whole fandom is bad, its just that the good one are ignored while only the bad ones end up representing the fandom.
Same things goes for big fandom like BTS's ARMY. Ik lots of nice army in real life. Sure there are bad ones, but most of the times like i said the bad ones are either kids or clueless kpop fans who are new into kpop/had always had the bad trait in real life.
