I've heard no one say it, but if you use any of Atreus' time slowing moves, heimdall actually notices and mocks him for it. That implies that the realm shift isn't actually a game mechanic, and atreus can just slow time.

I mean it's still a game mechanic but it's also a part of the narrative
Yeah it is Heimdall's power. If you notice if you wear the radiance set or any kind of realm shift ability at heimdall's fight with kratos whenever you trigger it, it doesn't work on him.
The fact that Thor still has the cut that kratos gave him is amazing, shows how dangerous kratos really is that he left a mark on the Aesir destroyer
Or because it has the venom from jormangandr

@@legendseeker6944 Baldur also got a really deep cut on his shoulder when Kratos hit him with Leviathan axe and it still healed. Maybe Thor just didn't bother to heal his wounds, or he doesn't have ability to do so?

thor can use the thunderbolts (he can't dodge that) to stunt heimdall so he was probably thinking on doing that and after he stunted him he can do whatever he likes. Thor could even push his hammer through his *ss

Idk why people were complaining about playing as Atreus. He’s got awesome skills to play around with.
For real. His character got so much development and was pretty fun to play with.
First, while I think he's fun to play as, he's nowhere near as fun as kratos, something that I'm guessing that the community agrees with. Second, some of his levels can be kind of played out, more specifically, the one in Jotenheim is just too damn long

I was literally GUSHING at this “boss” fight. This is exactly the kind of thing I love, an enemy dodging and taunting you. Heimdall is definitely one of my favourite characters in this game

Nope, what happened was that atreus covered the arrow in s*ht so when heimdall grabbed it. That mud jumped into heimdall. The purpose of the scene is the same as you say but heimdall didn't get a cut. He just got poop on his face wich is better

@@johanalejandrocazadordepin7225 Atreus caught onto the fact that Heimdall was toying with him, so he put mud on the arrow before firing at him. He was going to walk away on hearing Thor's approach, but that little smudge got him so upset he was ready to pummel him again. 12:00
