On 8 April 2019, Lukas Graham performed as a guest artist on the seventeenth season of American Idol during the second night of the “Top 20 Duets” episode. Lukas sang with contestants Eddie Island and Dimitrius Graham; both of which moved forward to the Top 14.

His name is Lukas Forchhammer and his is a Danish singer, in the band lukas graham. Lukas is the head singer in the band. The band started slow in Denmark and not so many years later, they became famous all around the world.

I have been coming back to this duet over and over through the years. This introduced me to Lukas Graham and I have such an appreciation for their music.

First off Lionel Richie is my favorite A.I. judge of ALL time. His enthusiasm is so infectious and so sincere. And how about that band?! I think for sure this is the BEST CROP of overall talent in American Idol history and that’s saying a lot. And DG is a phenomenal singer. Hope he wins it all!
