In this video you will learn exactly how the Hero Hub Hygiene framework, also known as ‘Hero Hub Help’, can help you grow your video traffic across all of your channels. Your website, CZcams, Facebook, LinkedIn - you name it.
Created by Google in 2014 as a guide to building a strong following for your CZcams videos, the triple H framework has since proven so effective that now businesses apply it across all areas of their marketing strategies.
Its 3 content types are there to ensure that no gaps are left when planning current and future video content.
Hero content are brand-focused videos, driven by emotion and high-quality production.
Here are my tips for hero content:
Tip One: Prioritise your promotional strategy.
Make sure you use every social media and video platform that is appropriate for your brand, and follow each of their video best practices when doing so.
Tip Two: When formulating your content, focus on creative storytelling that generates strong emotions.
Depending on what’s appropriate for your brand, it can be hilarious, shocking, inspirational, or harrowing.
Tip Three: If you’re on a tight budget for your Hero videos, be transparent with video agencies in your project brief.
Specifically request them to focus on narrative impact rather than visual impact. And to only pitch the best ideas that cut down on production costs.
    Hub content
These are videos that keep people coming back to your site. They achieve this by improving the user-experience of your website and making it a resource 'Hub' that keeps visitors engaged with your business.
Hub Videos come in many forms. The most common are:
    • Vlogs.
    • Interviews with industry experts and influencers.
    • Product demos and explainer videos.
    • Testimonials.
    • Conference and event coverage.
This a convenient way to create content that keeps people interested in your industry coming back to your site. Just take a camera along to any relevant conferences and events you’re involved in and, afterwards, edit it all together into a neat video.
Here are my tips for hub content:
Tip One: Find out exactly what’s stopping most of your visitors from making a purchase. Then show them what they need to see to quell these objections in your Hub content.
Tip Two: When discussing your offering, find the perfect balance of features to benefits to suit your situation. An excessive focus on benefits can often come across as empty claims, whereas an excessive focus on features can often make people think, ‘who cares?’ Ask yourself if either might apply to your product or service videos.
Tip Three: Try publishing your regular content, like vlog episodes, at predictable intervals. Like once a day, week or once a month. It’ll give your followers a reason to tune in with your business regularly.
    Hygiene or help content.
These are videos that target specific search keywords that people are using to find video content online. The goal of them is to rank high for popular keywords in your industry in order to drive traffic to your business.
Tip One: Only stick to the phrases that will attract enough traffic to make producing a video worth your time. And match your video titles with them exactly to help people find them.
Tip Two: Encourage comments and a discussion under your hygiene videos and interact with them and answer any questions people might have. It will help your videos rank on sites like CZcams and reinforce people’s idea of you as an approachable industry thought-leader.
Tip Three: Make your content as actionable as possible. For instance, don’t just explain what something is or how to do it, but also reveal valuable tactics and insights that will help people overcome their issues and succeed. Trust me, it’ll make many of them take a closer look at your business.

Thanks for your question Abrar. Hero, Hub and Hygiene content all serve different purposes. So its best to create separate content for each of them. Hope that helps.
