In this video it can be easy to say like "she's does all of it, he doesn't do anything, he's just there". But just LOOK how GREAT he is as a partner for her. It's amazing to see how focused he is and how it supports her through it all!
TheAuroraBallerina That's the perfect dynamic in pas de deux, the woman appears to do everything while the man simply supports her and enables her to go beyond what is possible alone.

having to balance AND hold on to a guys hand at the same time can be both tiring and scary. because you're trying to keep yourself up there, but you're also relying on them to keep you up. just gotta trust them...

Avery O'Neill trust me a male dancer has to do alot of things. He is there so she can look good and without him she wouldnt be able to dance it.
but remember, it’s a pas de deux. he is actually doing a great job, especially at the lifts. if he did a crappy job at the lifts, the lady would’ve been injured. don’t ya underestimate what he’s doing bc it’s important and crucial!!!
