- Galaxy Watch 5 Pro - Review( The Un Seen Side) - After being on the market for some time, Samsung's Galaxy Watch 5 Pro has proven to be a popular choice among consumers. With its larger screen, extended battery life, and titanium case, it boasts some impressive features. However, having used the watch for nine months, it's time to evaluate its performance and determine if it's still deserving of its initial hype. After using it for nine months, we found the dark side of the watch that no one has told you before. Watch the video until the end to obtain all the necessary details.

I read no rotating bezel as one less mechanical part that might break. I see this as a pro.
I currently use the gw5pro and I can't agree more , less moving parts means less probably that the watch fails on you
Not waterproof for swimming!?
Only lasts 24 hours on battery!?
Blatantly false
Forget the rotating bezel - I’ve had all previous models and even with physical bezel I hardly ever use it - he’s using this as a discriminator in his boring review - watch 5 pro is the best one yet and I’d recommend buying renewed from Amazon
Exactly don't care about a bezel at all
So the dark sides is not enough colours, and you can't dive more than 50meters... How many of you was deeper than 50meters? The video was made just for click bait, it's nonsense, all of us would like that battery last for ever... You can find dar sides and in perfection if you have nothing else to do...
Exactly terrible click bait
as a potential first-time buyer, these downsides would not to deter me....by the way, most recreational dives (40m maximum) are covered by the spec this watch has
Can't swim with it? Isn't 50 meters pretty deep?
what is the difference between 50 or 100 m water resistance if i am using it in pool swimming. i think this specs difference is related to diving. or am i didn't understand correctly?
What’s gps like now ? has it improved?
Battery life lasts more than 24 hours. How did you test the battery on this watch?
Yeah, at least 3 nights without charging
They didn't do anything this seems like they a got lemon, lied or just didn't care about the review, 75% is factually incorrect lol
Dark side comments are nonsense, and presumably click bait. I won't be subscribing. Battery life only 24 hours? That is totally inconsistent with other reviews all of which say it can easily last 3 days, and with Samsung's claim that it can do 80 hours. Battery life is widely known as one of the good points of this watch, so listing it under the dark side is bizarre. Can you please expand on this point, for example is that extended use of GPS? Also, how many people swim below 50 metres! Surely most people would say it's waterproof.
Miss leading tittle
I wish Samsung would add solar charging to their smart watches.
Hmm yes it would be great, but it may overheat pretty often.
@alejandrokeller9912 You might be new to watches but there are many brands to name a couple G Shock and Citizen. That make watches with solar technology and Citizen are known to make the best solar watches in the industry. My guess is due to cost, having a smart watch with solar tech would drive up the price a lot.
@@Dragonwar0 I own a citizen eco drive 8700 and not having to change the battery in 20 years is amazing 😢
Good stuff
- The lte version has a good signal, good volume on the speakers
- the watch is beautiful in terms of looks
- it is solid and unscrachable
- many interesting features
- responsive
Bad stuff
- the battery lasted for 4 hours because for 2 of them it was in direct sunlight so it dramatically fell to 0 percent. Apparently overheating causes power losses.
- no bezel means that I rarely used the virtual one because it is hard to uae it
- when in home it started tracking cycling while I was walking around and it turns on walking tracking while outside for no reason at all, then it decides that I am done walking which is not ok.
- you can only answer viber, messenger and whatsapp messages but you can't install any of those on the pro 5 version. This means that you cannot initiate a conversation without your phone.
Furthermore if the phone is not connected even the lte version does not recieve any messages at all.
After 7 days I returned it, this device is a joke for me. Guess what I am going to buy, yes that's right - Garmin Fenix 7x
Best review than all the videos out there lmao.
That watch is about double the price though, I just got the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro for about 300 euro. It's a bit silly to compare those.
I don't play with the watch all that much. I set it and use it, for time, steps, heart monitoring, etc. I have no qualms about the bezel. It works, that's all it needs to do. Can't believe how many reviewers are so upset about such an insignificant detail. It's a great watch, huge number of options, with very few drawbacks.
First, i got mine for 290 euros. Second and most important its measurements are almost on par with professional gear. We can talk for hours about the looks but there are other things more important
Bought mine used for 179 euros, for that price I am totally happy
Only things i dont like about my watch 5 pro is when i bought it with my s23 ultra there wasnt an option to get the lte version. 2 cant listen to youtube thru the watch. I can control youtube and youtube music on my phone from my watch. But on my watch 3 classic i could listen to youtube directly on my watch. But i do love the battery life i get almost 4 days before i have to charge compared to barely getting 6 hours with the watch 3 classic. I thin I that has more to do with one being the lte version and the other just a watch. For a while i thought the 5pro just didn't come in the lte configuration because it wasn't available thru Samsung for at&t. But overall I'm impressed with it outside of the fact it's not lte
no youtube?????!!!!
u can use all ur apps...
as a senior citizen, main reason i wanted the phone was the lte capability to call a number other than 911 in an emergency; i spent hours with verizon techs and with samsung techs trying to get it to work; it will work one time and then it stops; just doesnt make the call; not reliable for emergencies
I brought the 5 pro bc it don't have that turning bezel and the bigger battery. I'm keeping the 5 pro for when I go out. I'm now waiting on the regular watch 6 44m to wear for everyday use
Here you go the new watch czcams.com/video/8huYHxRy_n0/video.html
I get about 3 days of useg of my watch 5 pro
Im a samsung user and i hate it tried for 24 hours and gave up. Prefer huawei gt4 coz battry life upto 14 days on 1 charge comparing samsung and apple 24 hours. As we speak i last charged it 9 days ago and still at 26% battery simply amazing
Can’t swim with it, because of the 50m limit 😂😂
50m swim/dive in depth or 50m in distance?
It's sort of a strange number. It means the watch can take 5 atmospheres of pressure, which is the pressure at 50 meters, but since the pressure increases when moving through the water, you definitely can't swim down to 50 meters with a 50 meter watch. In fact it's generally recommended to have 100 meters before swimming at all.
@@vicatoren3967I don't think you are gonna do a submarine exploration with that
@jorvax3744 No, but the fact is a 50-meter watch is at risk if you go swimming in your pool with it. It'll most likely be fine, but it can't be guaranteed unless you've got 100 or more meters. You can google "watch waterproofing chart" if you want
That's 164ft deep, most people will not swim that deep, not even most diverse, so yes, you can swim with it.
Why can't you swim with it if it's water resistant to 50 meters?
Yes, you can, but only for short periods of time.
@@Tech-World-YThow many minutes / hours
What is your experience with the galaxy watch?
just bought different colors on aliexpress👍 and just got a new phone with 5 pro for free😊
I wonder how can Samsung call this a Pro version considering the battery is a joke in real life use.
Batt life of my 5 pro lasts for a day an a half, and its on always on mode. Turn that off it goes 2 days.
Most say it lasts 3 days with AOD off. This review is misleading.
Water resistant to 50 meters and you can't swim or dive?? Do the math my friend.
I've always found those numbers to be odd. 50 meters actually means 5 atmospheres of pressure, which means it can survive the pressure att 50 meters of depth when sitting still. However, the pressure increases when moving through the water, meaning that you generally want at least 100 meters of water resistance to swim with a watch. Your watch will probably be fine swimming with 50 meters resistance, but it can't be guaranteed
I swim with my pro 5 no problems
Even for long period of time?
@@Tech-World-YT Last time i was with my daughter at the bitch for 5h . No problems.

I recommend, Watch the whole video please.
Take my unlike. Poor review on the yt about watch5 pro.
Why do you think like that?
Hi, it's safe to have a bath with?
This is the worst most click bait pointless review ever sorry. All i saw was no dark side at all lol
Watch to the end of video.
Indian video
If u dont have android 8 or higher you shouldn't buy a 500$ watch anyway lol and also yes 100000% you can swim with it even diving in the ocean lol click bait awful misinformation review
Watch to the end of video.
@Tech-World-YT I did that's not a dark side, a dark side video would be like if the 5 pro was secretly charging you for walking or something lol not some minor issues, just saying, it should have been pros and cons, not click bait to get people to think there is something wrong with the watch
