As for adding 6 channels, that's a feature in 664 in theinitial design, where you had 6 inputs, and the 6 ta3 connectors were being used as direct outputs. Adding the cl 6 on the 664 turned those 6 direct outs into 6 line level inputs.

Ahh! Thank you for pointing that out. That makes sense. I don't have the 664, so I totally missed that connection. I'll try to correct myself with an on-screen graphic card or something.
