I have a newfound love for modular stuff now
Can't wait to build my first disappointing rig in a few years
Keep up the good work
Have you been to Andrew Huang video that linked in the description?czcams.com/video/oFadopWxKjw/video.html There it is, if you haven't. Andrew links a software in his description that allows you to play with modular synthesis without the hardware. It wont have that analog sound but it be great to figure out what you want before you start buying the gear.
Cool thing about modular is getting shit used and selling it used as your vision changes- most modules don’t depreciate too badly...
@@AnxiousCowboy the depreciation gives them character 😂😂
Awesome soundscape, can't get enough of modular, specially one that's done well
Ubercool :D
Seriously all the time I saw Andrew sneekin around and now suddenly he appears everywhere with his eurorack!!
I like it!! :o :D
I love this sound! 😍
This is just pure awesomeness.
Very neat, I am so happy to see Andrew beeing part of the modular community :D
Rhapsody in noise he’s really buzzing around
this honestly amazing!
Very good ambient soundtrack, Andrew! Respect.
beautiful
That's inspired! Well done!!!!
Great stuff guys
🙏🏻✨
There's a knob joke here but I won't stoop. Loving the sounds. It's great to see who Andrew connects with musically.
I've been listening to music for a while (Radiohead, Datach'i, Arcane Roots) which used modular synths and I've just watched and admire people like you and others who cover these songs manipulating these synths in such a fluent way. After Andrews video, I think I am going to give learning a go - I can't wait to watch some of your content :)
+Jacob really you’re jazzed for modular synths! It’s been the most fun and rewarding way I’ve made music for a long time
White Noises I love finding out about how things work with music - not so much the textbookey theory stuff, rather the more technical side of things with the instruments. So for a long time it’s been my hobby to look at guitar pedals, looking at the sounds they make. But this is just a whole new level of technical stuff; it’s actually a part of playing the synth, knowing how it works! Sounds a lil nerdy but that stuff makes me happy - shame all this costs so much and I am a student.. nevertheless I’ll scrounge my way into the hobby ;)
Jacob I have a modsynth app for Android, which is free. It's not very complex, and you'll need the the full version to make better synths, but it's so fun. I've found ways to make super fun glitchy noise.
Coool!
Very nice guys :-)
Beautiful, beautiful music, and beautiful nails! Seriously, what nail varnish is that? I need it.
try sally hansen in 581 "black and blue" lol. idk if it's the exact same, but i happen to have it on my desk and it looks just like it
This is so fucking zen
The jazzy chords were great
Which was wearing nail polish and what is your perspective on this?
Digiphex Electronics it's Andrew
reminds me of hyper light drifter
Great game with great music + sound!

Disasterpeace is incredible.

Where can I find other music like this?
Check out the links to other artists in Andrew's video about his modular synth, they're all fantastic!
Great vid! Cool to see you two finally touching tips.. erm, I mean exchanging ideas. Liked the Donald Trump's sniff btw
