My gaming laptop has similar specs.
It is an 8 generation Core i7 from 2018, with 8GB of RAM, and a 2GB Nvidia 1050 video card.
I was thinking about buying the game, but I wasn't sure if it worked well.
it will work well 60fps low setting! mine spec is similar to you. You can play higher setting on 30 fps if you really dont mind about it. But your laptop is definitely capable of playin it with smooth experience
