Couple of questions.
1, How long does it take you to go back through all the 50p coins to check for errors etc?
2, Would you do a video to see if you could do a date run in £2 coins? I think that would be to and different to see.

Managed to get £500 today. Found a GFOL and KJB plus 2 mexican 10 pesos (the rest were bog standard).
At 1:03 there was one that looked like it had lines cut into it?

Peter Cushing (Grand Moff Tarkin) was British. David Prowse (Darth Vader) was British. Anthony Daniels (C3-PO) was British. Alec Guinness (Obi-Wan Kenobi) was British. The list goes on and on... I don't think there should be any problem regarding Star Wars as British...
Totally, I think that star wars has more than enough British representation to warrant the coins, combined with the universal love for the franchise, it's all good. I just wonder if all the coins will get released before the end of this year?

I got this coin in silver proof its absolutely gorgeous, I wish they minted the flying scotsman silver proof without colour as thats another lovely design but im not a fan of the painted coins the royal mint are producing nowerdays

to all the people saying that Star Wars has no place on British Coins ..... don't forget a lot of was filmed in Bedfordshire in Cardington Sheds (Where the R100 and R101 Airships were built) ... not forgetting who actually played Darth Vader in the films too - the same British actor known as the "Green Cross Man" - Dave Prowse.
