Finally when the two pound (bi metal) came out we had all those interesting one pound coin variations
Wouldn't be funny if you found a 2022 or 2023 Britania with the Kings portrait on it before a 2021 Britania.
Had a trip to Bakewell with my Mum today, enjoying the glorious weather.. and we got a Coronation 50P!! Top result!!

I always to ask for my change in £2 or 50p coins when in the shops. everyone needs to do this otherwise we'll start seeing less coins on the highstreet..

I think the problem with the two pound coin is that it too large and heavy for its own good. while one pounds are good for wearing holes in pockets the two pounds take up space in purses. also at just 5 to Ten Pounds they dont have a nice "feel" of being five pounds worth or ten pounds worth of coinage. ( maybe the same problem occured with half crowns in the 1950s and early heavy victorian and prior pennies and double ? pennies.

Chris you must have to scrub your hands after this, look how dirty your fingers get while going through the coins. Do you ever clear the coins?
i would upgrade a coin if it's a very shiny quality one i find, any coin can be over face value if they are high quality so i usually keep them. i hope we get a full charles definitive set in circulation soon, i want to find a full set.
