- In this SPOTLIGHT video I'll be showcasing 5 of my favourite creature mods in ARK: Survival Ascended. Including How to tame, their attacks and abilities explained and everything else you need to know about them.
Every mod is free and available on cross-platform.

The Meraxes, monolophosaurus, and eocarcharia all notably have a scorched variant found on scorched earth that functions the same but looks drastically different
In addition if you have the Arkology mod installed a Arkology vectispinus also exists

Thanks Bey! Great that these are available on console! I Ben thought ASA is a mess in some places….being able to play mods on console is a deciding factor for me to play ASA over ASE!

Tristian mods are fantastic!
I love the brews on the Eocarcharias and use them for everything.
And the vectispinus on the center boss with spino buff plus vecti buff and yuti buff is SUPER FUN.

No problem! I totally agree! It's great for the boss fight! As soon as I heard that it buffs the Spino I had to try it :D
Eocharcaria is one of the best medium sized creature in my opinion i also love the eocharcaria, quick tip for the meraxes on the island i mostly found it on carno island it also spawns in the snow on the island, (i made a mistake it also spawns in the redwoods)

Great showcase mate! I'm sure it was hard to choose just 5 creature mods with so many good ones out there. I voted for Fuzzy Jumpy Nope every Wildcard poll and was devo when it never won but I'm so glad somebody gave it life and also did such a good job on all the abilities and model.

Thank you! I have briefly showcased the Paleo Rex and Giga in a previous video but I do plan on doing a full showcase at some point, maybe when more dinos get added!
The meraxes is my favorite modded dino, not only because of what you showed in the video, but it also has a couple of really well done (and adorable) idle animations - a chin scratch and a body shake. I'm currently breeding and mutating an OP boss army of these cuties on Svartelfheim.
I did notice that!! I really liked its cute animations :D
Surprisingly they all seem pretty balanced, I love the Vectispino!
The Eocharcaria can do far too many things. Pack bonus better than Allo(making Allo useless), has saddle armor, can craft buffs, can enter boss arenas, has 3 different attacks, has bleed, AND can sit down for rapid regen. I love it but it is not balanced at all.
@@TheRiisingSunthe allo is almost always useless because of its piss poor stamina. only time allos are useful is when they are in packs but there is better pack dinos
@@TheRiisingSuntbh Allo should have some of the stuff the EoCarcha has. Don’t think I ever bother taming an Allo for anything, it needs some sort of buff or something 😂

Monolophosaurus is ine of my favorite dinos for caving it is small , does decent damage , and has a nice little jump ability.
Yeah they are great!! I really enjoyed using it :D Was pleasantly surprised when I found I wasn't taking health damage in the swamp cave with the shield equipped! :D
I know you probably didn’t do it intentionally But I pause to download the mod and went the segment ended it was Finish with every single one besides the first two cuz I already had em installed

Does the euchacharias speed stew work with flyers? I tested it on a pteranodon and it didn’t seem to do anything
I must admit I haven't tried yet but I'll definitely look into it tomorrow and let you know!
Vectispinus is definitely the best modded creature in this video
I'm not a big spider person, but the jumping spider is a pretty cool mod :)
Can you start a comparison series where you compare similar creatures and see which is best? Specifically I would like to see one comparing the sabertooth, dire wolf, and thyla
Sounds like a cool idea! I did have a brief comparison of the Direwolf and Saber in a previous video, was only brief though! I'd love to look into it more, got a lot of big projects I need to finish first, keep getting distracted by lots of other videos I want to make XD

11:22 are thos e little bugs running on the ground a mod or a new feature of ASA?
It's just a visual feature on the Center map I believe, can't interact with the bugs at all XD

Its called: 'Der Dino Finder' by Hacki_van_Bane, it integrates into your map in inventory. It is really handy

Man….the same thought that kept going around in my mind watching this is how sick of modders creating new knockout methods. For the casual player it’s impossible to keep up and makes a lot of these mods unrealistic. I don’t want to have to spend 5 minutes researching a new creature every time I run into it in the wild and want to tame it. Why can’t there be a mod that makes all creatures, vanilla or modded, simply knockout tames…..
It is a lot to keep up with tbh, I think it's okay, I prefer a knock out method or passive tame but I guess if everything was tamed that way it could get pretty boring, I do enjoy trying to figure out how to tame things sometimes XD
Fair enough, I guess it would get stale if it was all the same, but I still wish that there was a bit less. The moors indomitable duo comes to mind….you gotta have a bachelors degree to figure that one out if you don’t watch the tutorials haha
