Kyren looked completely at sea in the final session, amazed at Jak Jones’ temperament and quality under pressure. That said, Kyren’s early streak really was the deciding factor, and you can’t begrudge such a nice bloke who’s clearly worked very hard on his game ❤
Really glad for him but also concerned that this is going to be good last, can't believe how fragile his temperament (bottle) is, he needs to work on it otherwise won't be able to win much, needs to be much more vicious
You have got to be kidding me. I know you people love to dwell on the negative but this has to be a record. He's literally just WON the Worlds and within hours you are straight back onto the "yeah but". Unbelievable and a reminder to me why I keep away from human beings. Hard work pays off. I remember first seeing Kyren on a Barry Stark video on CZcams years ago and then saw how he’s career evolved and now he has lived up to his dreams. Fair play to him because he seems like such a nice guy and family man.
I really enjoy seeing someone reaching his/her life goal achievement. This was emotional for me as well 😢 well deserved!

Deserved winner. Can't deny that I was rooting for Jak but the honest truth is that he simply didn't deserve to be crowned Champion. He did exceptionally well throughout the tournament but his decision-making and long-pot success weren't up to it. I do look forward to seeing him next season, though. For Kyren, I've been wanting to see him win a major tournament ever since Ronnie's public disrespect, and was the stronger player in all of his games this Crucible

It was a gruelling match and for a few moments it looked like Jones was going to catch up. The intense pressure on Kyren was obvious and he did well to finish without succumbing. A strong man. Well done both players. I was on the edge of my seat many times. 😱👍

As a Scottish person i had hoped to see Higgins or Maguire win this as it's been so long since a Scot won a world title but after seeing how hard Kyren worked to get to the final against Higgins and how he out performed all of his opponents in the Tournament leading up to the final it's good to see he won it. He's certainly an excellent player and while it's not a final most folks would have predicted it was certainly still worth watching. Very happy for Kyren and his family. Absolutely well deserved world championship victory. He might not win all the time but he's proven this time he can do it and now he has a world title under his belt. He has improved drastically in recent months and for sure earned this without a shadow of a doubt. Down to earth genuine lad so all credit to him! bummer for Jones but I doubt he'l feel too gutted with that prize money. He did well to make it so far and to perform infront of that crowd must have felt so special. Well done lads! You can see just how much it means to him so to see him so happy and his family so happy is honestly such a good sight. Hope to see them both do well after this as they've proven they're capable!
Sadly maguire won’t ever win a world title and Higgins is on the downside of his career mate. Unless some new Scottish player comes out the woodwork then I can’t see a Scott winning for a while buddy.

Imagine doing this another 7 times 😮. We followed Stephen hendry from day one, and never in our wildest dreams did I think I was going to be watching a multiple world champion. We even got his signature in Safeway while he was buying a frozen pizza - before he got those titles 😅 Kyren just like Hendry, true gentlemen. I wish him all the best

No disrepect to Kyren, I can't imagine a more deserving winner, but the standard has been quite poor across the board this tournament

@@lonewolf604 Come on. You can't deny that there were so many unforced errors this year from all of Kyrens' and Jones' opponents to reach the final. The only top 16 heavyweight that actually played a good game was John Higgins!

Jak Jones got a bit nervous in that first session which led him to the loss tonight. However, Karen played beautifully all over
The all round game was impressive.
Cleared the table on most occasions.
Some brilliant snooker played.
Honorable mention Bingham played really well, however, he was outclassed by the resilience of Jak Jones in that semifinal.
Ronnie looked rusty overall, missed a lot of pots and surely he is looking forward to playing in China more.
I´m not a huge fan of Kyren but he is a Big Player who´s getting better and better in the last years and he deserve the title very much. Congratulation
