An alternative to a map expansion is that they are teasing severe weather, since the signs and guard rail posts are bent like there was a storm.

If they tease all of this what i'm guessing is a possible highway expansion/map expansion opening up new jobs as well maybe teasing to a state trooper team? (these are all my thoughts as they kind of make sense now you think of it)
What has this to do with state troopers 💀 at this point y’all are just overhyping yourself
I mean, that’s kind of true but if they do add one you realize if you almost server and have state troopers on share, if you have to delete all the sheriff deliveries and shift them over to highway patrol

tbh, I don't think it's state troopers cus Liberty County doesn't seem to be a state.
I think they will add a flood emergency that requires all departments. We already have some but I think it would really cool for like a river rescue since the fire department has like life vests and ropes.

The bridge falling down was bcause a rockslide thats why there was a bunch of land on the highway and the other damaged stuff is most likely for adding special times for hurricanes,tornadoes or intense wind.

boats are probaly gonne be added (i hope) bc it would make sense they are getting rid of the bridge maybe to raise it or replace with a raisable brdige aswell boats makes sense its a summer update lots of people go on boats or fish during the summer also explaining the no fishing signs(my theorie)

That’s a job it’s been there for like a year probably not
Since there is most likely going to be a map expansion that will probably open up more jobs so taking away one job the most people don't even do isn't going to be a big deal

I think they’re gonna add some type of heavy forested town, a few small desolate stores, a small gas station, a stream/lake/river, and a bunch of trails and cabins to go with the atv and utv update. On top of that, with this new water feature there could very well be boats. Let’s not get our hopes up, but that’s my theory.
That road closed ahead sign is new! We juet have a road closed sign right now! More roadsigns is great for construction, especially ones that use proper diagrams!

They Could Be Adding A Draw Bridge, Hinting At Boats And Other Marine Type Things.
Seeming that they just introduced trailers for vehicles, maybe boat's are the next big thing, it does make sense in my opinion. and the last few frames is probably a new and improved bridge that's a bit slanted, because the old one looked basic af, or they're just making the river bigger and that'll introduce the boat's, It'll probably be the same thing that they did with High rock park, they put a Jetty at the lake and you can spawn a boat on a trailer, drive the trailer in reverse and you could put it in the water, you could probably just put it in the water at spawn although, that's just my theory lol

personally I’d like trucks in the game but the thing is roads would have to be a lot wider and the city would need an expansion and there will have to be 2 lanes for both sides of road to overtake such big vehicles

I know ER:LC is not a storm chasing game like Twisted but based on what I've seen on the teaser, it appears to be that it is possible that they might add tornadoes of some sort onto the game. Again, very unlikely prediction of mine but seeing the downed guard rails, collapsed bridge and bent signs makes it seem like it in my opinion.
Boat ramps I think will not be added but the end of the tunnel near the small park is where you can see the highway with some gates with a new job called highway maintenance that is going to have some of the d,o,t job stuff and cars
I hope they add a new town and maybe add new liveries to the sheriff so it can be highway patrol and sheriff in the same team. But I am also disappointed that now it’s guaranteed tornadoes or natural disasters won’t be added. But this is still a very cool update and I am looking forward to it.

We may, just possibly, in a very big maaaybeee, get State Patrol? Maybe, I’m not very sure on it but considering that that the highway is getting bigger it would an actual logical addition, again maybe.
Prediction: similar to Fireman Sam I think they will add a Boat House with Water rescue vehicles for the fire department (maybe for law enforcement as well)

Maybe there tearing down the highway so that they can increase density and make it so that the highway won’t separate neighborhoods
#1 Here's my first thinking on this teaser maybe the highway could extend to the tunnels at RiverCity and end there since a lot of people have suggested that before and PRC has been kind of listening to the community so yeah
#2 Second thinking is maybe they are gonna add a drawbridge as we saw in the last part of the TikTok the DOT workers were working on the bridge entirely if you don't know what a drawbridge is it's basically where they bridge goes up so boats/ships can get through no I don't mean ships are gonna come to ERLC that would be complete chaos I am talking about boats we can put on trailers and ride around in the river these probably have a really low chance of coming to ERLC though

I think they’re going to expand the lake, add boats or some type of watercraft, and they’re moving the highway to expand the lake
They need to make the server size a little bit bigger cause when it’s just RC and SF, SF is a Ghostown
i think that the highway "expantion" leaks are them planning on wrapping the highway arround the entire map, or at least i hope so

Does anyone else think that the tunnel at the end of highway-55 north at the intersections onto riverside drive will turn into a new housing suburbs to the left of the highway and the tunnel will go round housing suburbs and connect to the tunnel area.

The thumbnails of ERLC aren’t made ingame, they’re made rendered with a 3d software, probably Blender, to make the quality of the image as good as possible and attract as many players as possible. So those images aren’t ingame but just for icon/thumbnail purposes. Don’t hype yourself up now.
They are doing a map update. Look at the map by pressing m. It shows a 60% increase in map potential.
I think it might be tornadoes because it’s right now tornado alley in America and that might be a perfect time to release it

I am pretty sure the tunnel of Highway 55 South states "Leaving River City" may mean a new town and maybe finally the State Trooper team.
State trooper would be pointless, just go in sheriff and put a “state trooper” Livery on.
