@@3rabGuyOfficial that’s the price of many games nowadays, not just Nintendo, a lot of Sony published games are around $70-80, I think, I’m in the uk and prices here are slightly different but they are very similar.
I got my switch lite for $80 used. Best thing ever. I have a massive portable battery that I carry in my backpack or pocket and it can keep the switch charged for well more then 24 maybe even 48+ hours, so I never worry about battery life. But here’s the thing… what’s better, digital or physical games? I have all physical games because I always thought they are better, but I hear rumors that the next generation of systems will no longer have game slots..
Oh that's great! Just bought a Switch lite yesterday! Since i have a WiiU emulator on my gaming laptop which i can just connect to the TV and play with my Wiimote controllers i already have the Zelda, MK8, Super mario 3d World experience on the big screen! But tell me... do you ever miss playing on the big screen while playing on the Lite?
@@King_Andrew not really. The only games I’ve enjoyed on a big screen were just playing with friends in my school years such as Xbox, PS2, N64, and GameCube. And I used to play on a tiny box TV with AV cables that was probably 12” of screen.
I like playing hand held games such as pokemon, so that mostly what I got my switch for. I’ve always had the dream of “catching them all” and I’m only like 10 away from finishing that too!

That's the main appeal of Nintendo no fighting game has such an audience like smash and no game company has such innovative ideas like Nintendo there is a reason Nintendo has been around for so long they do not what they're supposed to do but what they do is they try new things
Family plan is way better on a budget if 2 or 3 people split from the 8. Heck, you can gift someone as I did for my niece with Christmas. Expansion for mario kart and animal crossing is worth it if even 1 person uses those.
Just gotta filter what games are not optimized for switch performance tests and filter codes in physical box with no cart (or underwhelming cart size for big downloads).
I'll state 3 other reasons:
1) Cheap storage compared to SSD (400 gigs I only fill half with 100 games).
2) LAN GBA multiplayer or animal crossing with 1 player per console on switch lite (PS Portal can do local multiplayer at a distance from who owns PS5, I would just use remote play on iPad otherwise).
3) My nintendo/play nintendo have fun rewards and website ideas. Nice animal crossing printout annual calendar, though you won't have space for writing notes as the dates have animal's faces.

I can attest to the portability factor . I usually take my switch everywhere especially when I go to restaurants or convenience stores. When I need to go to the restroom I usually take it with me to pass the time...👍

A switch is on a level by itself you can go anywhere unlike the others where you stuck in one spot
Been enjoying Zelda TOTK on switch oled recently. The exclusives are great to play. Only regret is still not getting mario odyssey 😅

These exact arguments can be made for every other console. I personally think for the lack of game quality, and frequent low frame rate, the nintendo switch is basically a ~$500 emulator with an uptight company behind it. Love the videos tho🙌

Oh nice. Yeah and you can easily scratch it by the dock in and out. I forgot that in my own comment. Ill give it top 10. If i had to choose id rather go woth steam deck or whatever if it was cheaper. Get 10x better everything. They never even implemented themes nor got the storefront situated. Everything is all over the place.

@@ourradiantgaming uh the psp, psp vita, ds, gameboy, gameboy advanced, 3ds, ds and other handhled consoles can all be played anywhere my guy, and probably for longer because god does the battery suck on the switch

Number 5 don't have to wait for a game to download like PlayStation and Xbox. That is sorta annoying especially when you have slow Internet
The Switch is great, but they should have upgraded the CPU and RAM from an Nvidia Tegra X1 to a Snapdragon 865 and the RAM from 4GB to 8GB for the OLED model. 4GB would’ve been fine in 2013, but it’s the bare minimum in 2023.

•a wide, WIDE variety of controller options, and the main controllers (gamepad and wiiremote) are a lot harder to break than the joycons (i know theres joycon fixing services, but you shouldnt NEED that. 10 years down the line there aint gonna be no nintendo switch joycon replacements)
•incredible UI that makes it feel alive
•great selection of games, even if not many
•a literal Wii built-in
•The most important one of all, the HOMEBREWING scene. You get whatever is on the wii (providing its compatible, e.g glow-wii, a disc drive LED lighter, isnt gonna work if theres no disc drive LED is there?) PLUS all of the wii u homebrew too. Full Gamecube support, fairly average N64 support (fortunstely all the best titles are emulated well on the Virtual Console) idk abt 64DD, full SNES and Satellaview support, full NES and Famicom Disk System support, KINDA 3DS support? Impressive DS support, full GBA support, full GBC support, full GB support, and many, many more

Why it is not:
1: Uses an outdated chipset that kids tablets use.
2. Long play sessions heat the console, even when playing games optimized for it.
3:Due to old chipset, horrible performance, making some games run bad or not even earn a place on the system at all.
4. Uncomfortable in handheld, and in multiplayer due to the joycons being microscopic.
