  • David Jeremiah of the broadcast ministry Turning Point says God’s covenant with Abraham in Genesis 12 consists of an unconditional promise to bless Abraham “and that promise has been lavishly kept.” Jeremiah was among the speakers at a special session celebrating the 70th anniversary of the modern state of Israel March 1, 2018, at Proclaim 18, the National Religious Broadcasters’ (NRB) International Christian Media Convention in Nashville, Tennessee. Christians are connected to Abraham by baptism into Christ as we read in Galatians 3:27-29- for "If you be Christ's, then are you Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise." True Christians will be heirs with Abraham in the Kingdom age.

God called a people to be separate and distinct, completely unique from all others in His creation.
The required distinction as demonstrated throughout the biblical text is:
    - Who these unique called individuals would worship
    and
    - The unique way these called individuals were instructed by their God to worship Him only.
No where in the holy word of God does he define or demonstrate the identity of His called people by any single ethnicity. In fact the biblical history provided by God has dedicated a great deal of biblical text highlighting the diversity of people groups interwoven into the biological line of Abraham forward. People of faith, many were called not all chosen just as now.
Apostle Paul stated what had always been by Faith we are of Abraham.
Circumcision was of all who worship as Israel as commanded by God through Moses and Joshua all who were of the household and dwelled with Israel. Mixed multitude left Egypt. Jacob adopted Egyptian sons displacing his biological sons.
We are one body in Christ Jesus. A wonderful blend of all people kindreds and tongues blessed by a merciful and wise God.
God knew that a wicked and arrogant people capable of foolishly redefining His creation and created order, would certainly be capable of creating ethnic stumbling blocks in Gods kingdom.
Genesis details promises to Abraham the Father of MANY NATIONS Genesis 17:4
The inheritance is of Abraham seed the people of God through faith in Jesus Christ Galatians 3:29
The land to be inherited is the EARTH. Exodus 19:3-6
The earth is the Lords and the fullness of it.

Jesus is the true Israel , the faithful Son and second Adam. Paul is clear in Romans 4 that the promises to Abraham go to the whole world in Christ and as Hebrews 11 says Abraham lived in tents in the promises land looking for a city which has foundations whose architect and builder is God .. it’s not a national reality but a heavenly reality IN CHRIST .

  • @jgeph2.4
    @jgeph2.4 Před 2 lety +1

For the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would be heir of the world was not through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith.
    - Romans 4:13
That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants.
    - Romans 9:8
Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as referring to many, but rather to one, “And to your seed,” that is, Christ.
    - Galatians 3:16
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise.
    - Galatians 3:28-29
By faith he lived as an alien in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, fellow heirs of the same promise; for he was looking for the city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is God.
    - Hebrews 11:9-10
But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them.
    - Hebrews 11:16
For the Son of God, Christ Jesus, who was preached among you by us-by me and Silvanus and Timothy-was not yes and no, but is yes in Him. For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us.
    - 2 Corinthians 1:19-20

The land promise is not unconditional, i.e. God alone walking between
the pieces. The land promise was based on the law of blessing and cursing, that’s why God kicked them out of the land, regathered them for Messiah’s final offer of mercy, and then destroyed the Temple, Priesthood and sacrifice forever.
Secular Israel today has nothing in common with Mosaic Temple worship , except their still claiming the land by right based upon God’s promise to Abraham.
But the promise was not to Abraham’s seeds, plural, i.e. descendants, but to His “seed” which is Christ.
    Galatians 3:16 (KJV)

Many pro-Israel ministers are preaching that Genesis 12:3's oath spoken to Abraham, "I will bless those who you and curse those who you", means today's Israelis.
But this is a fallacy! according to Galatians 3:16, 29 and Romans 9:6-11, 14, 24-25, 32. The unbelieving Jews who rejected the gospel, Jesus said, others "from east and west shall come and sit in the kingdom with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob but the rejectors shall be cast out". Matt. 8:11-12.
Sure the Abrahamic covenant still stand but only for the Israeli followers of Jesus (Galatians 3:26-29), whose sins are forgiven; those who come through the middle passage, the wilderness, who agree to God's specifications, only then, not before.
The ones that returned after AD 70 want no part of Jesus nor His redemption. They humor Christians for the $dollar value. If Jesus says they're not of the Father in John 5 to 10, do you subvert the scriptures?
Your ideology contradicts Jesus' very words. Ezekiel 37 speaks of dead coming out of graves. This didn't happen in 1948 or any time since then. The occupation didn't result from disinterments!

its also good to read the Present with Religion, a book available for free on the internet. The book is about the truth of life and it shows the full picture of life for the first time so that you may stop being deceived by the world and be able to follow the steps of Jesus and other prophets to Heaven.Knowing the whole truth of life is the key factor in our salvation. We must know the real truth, all of it and live in it and change ourselves according to it in order to be saved. There is no other way to our salvation. With the knowledge of the truth there comes true repentance which means changing our minds and also true obediance to God' s law and finally our sanctification which is a lifelong process. And God in His mercy will give us His wonderful grace which is the time and ability to make the proper change.Only in this way will we be able to attain our eternal salvation. Our task is to find this narrow gate that lesds to God and do it quickly and stay on it till the end no matter what. Then and only then we will be saved. There is nothing more important or serious to do in this fallen world as our eternal fate depends on it.

Prophesy couldn't even be fulfilled until the Jews returned to their land which happened in one single day as Prophesy says and the only time in History that ever happened was on May 14, 1948. Prophesy couldn't be fulfilled until Jeruselum was capital again which just happened while Trump was in office. Israel is God's chosen nation and Jeruselum is His chosen eternal city but only the tribe of Judah are the Jews. There were two kingdoms in Israel. The kingdom of Judah and the Kingdom of Israel. Only the tribes of Levi and Benjimen and Judah are of the Kingdom of Judah, the other lost ten tribes are from the Kingdom of Israel and they are not all Jews.

Were the ancient Hebrew tribes favoured of God; were they the apple of his eye? What special qualities did they possess over all the other tribes that inhabited the earth? And if God created mankind why would he favour one group over another? It makes no sense. As for the preacher called Jesus he was but a man deluded to the point who thought himself favoured of God until the shocking realisation that he was actual dying on a cross of execution opened his eyes to the brutal reality of his predicament.

      Sir Abraham was the 1st
Man to believe in the invisible God. God told him
To leave his people and he would become a mighty nation. Abraham obeyed that voice and went out
Not knowing where he was heading . Noah also God
Made a covenant with Gen.9:9 with him and his
      Offspring ,they were all
      Hebrews
      That's why he's called
The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
If you accepted Christ as your lord and savior now
You would also be under that covernant as well.
Christ Jesus. Came and sealed that deal for us, by
Taking on death on a cursed tree, Cross where
For your sins you've done on earth you should have
      Hung there. The priest use
To go into the alter of Gid each year , but before they went in they had to do a
Sacrifice to cleanse themselves of their sins
Before they did the sacrifice for the people.
      Year after year,
But Christ the word of God
Was sent down to once and for all nail that over and over ritual by dieing so you'd be saved and cleansed once and for all.
      God keeps his covernant.
Read the scriptures, start with John 1: where it says In the beginning was the word, the word was with God , and the word WAS
God. That's Jesus right there , Jesus is the God
That got nailed to that cross. HE WAS A JEW, HE OBEYED GOD SO YOU COULD BOLDLY COME TO HIM IN PRAYER AND WIPE THOSE SINS OUT, AND
BEAT SATAN TO THE CORE. EVERY PROBLEM OF YOURS COULD BE LAYED AT THE CROSS.
HIS WORD WASHES , AND CLEANS.
