Judaism is passed down through someone’s mother. It is not a race or an ethnicity. Prager is 100% Jewish.

In fact most Jews I know are completely secular. Secular Jews base their identity not on Judaism but on ethnicity. The main Jewish ethnic groups are Mizrahi, Sephardi and Ashkanazi.

Jews began returning to Israel in the latter half of the 19th century during Ottoman rule of Israel/Palestine. The main driving force behind their return was Zionism, which was sparked by antisemitism. So you can actually say antisemitism was the reason Jews returned to Israel, since that was the spark that started the Zionist movement. Ironically it was Britain that a actually limited Jewish immigration to Palestine and turned Jews away during the 30's and 40's to die at the hands of the Nazis. Jews have been wanting to return to Israel for over a thousand years though, there isn't one reason for their return. If you want to give one reason and only one, than Theodor Herzl is your reason.

He has some great perceptions But you are right, he is secular Jew and will never admit that the reason the Jews are hated is rooted in Jesus. The "the god of this world" (2 Corinthians 4:4), meaning satan, hates the Jews because of Jesus. That is the surface reason they are persecuted. NOW I will complicate it slightly, UNDERNEATH that reason lies God's purpose (see Joseph in Genesis 50:20) for this hatred. God wants everyone to be saved. Right? Prideful people can NOT accept God's gift of salvation. They first must be humbled. How does a person get humbled? You guessed it persecution, trouble suffering. Romans 8, the world was subjected to frustration IN HOPE that they might be saved. Therefore, cancer, persecution, etc. He is working for everyone to be saved, to come to a knowledge of Jesus, the Messiah. How many people accepted Jesus as Lord in the death camps? What is better a long and happy life here and eternal punishment? OR suffering here and eternal life with our Glorious Father and God!!!!!!!!!!
