She didn't really throw him under the bus. She admitted he is great at what he does when it comes to acting and putting a film together. In years past he didn't say a lot of kind things about her either after they divorced. Way back then I think Stallone was just thinking more between his legs than his ears, which all guys are guilty of at one point or another. If memory serves me correctly he was already married when having his affair and dating Nielsen. So I don't think he really knew her well enough to marry her. He just wanted something hot at the time he could say was his thus he married her. Either way, it made all the sense in the world for her to be in "Creed II". She was very intricate in the storyline of "Rocky IV". Had she not been in it people would have wondered why she wasn't. She was the voice for Drago. Stallone may not like her as a woman but for the sake of business he put personal differences from years ago aside and reached out to her to get her in the movie. On a side note, Nielsen I'm sure leads a very comfortable life and isn't struggling for much if anything these days. She made a lot of money in her life and I'm sure doesn't care for relevancy currently at her age.

To be fair, we don't know what happened between them.
And also to be fair, Bridgette seems like she has some past trauma that ruled her life for a long time. Dating unkind men was a pattern, and these kinds of patterns weren't as well understood back then, and therapy was frowned upon. She's had a rough go of life and we don't know why.
She shouldn't have made these comments, but nonetheless, it's also unfair to demonize her in this.

Life rarely forgives bad decisions, the problem is people rarely honestly own up to making them and just blame others for there own incompetent decisions or just make excuses.

"Sylvester Stalone was a horrible husband" and that being said from a woman who was repeatedly cheating on her first and third marriage, as Kasper Winding(first husband) and Sebastian Copeland(third husband) have revealed on interviews couple of years ago. Especially Sebastian Copeland, who seems to me as the most normal and down to earth guy compared to other 4, said that she was very demanding and her personality wasn't the best. Later on, when he found out about her affairs he divorced her right away. I seriously can't comprehend how this kind of people can blame so easily their ex's while they know their past with them wasn't as clear.

If you watch Stallone's daughters' podcast where he and his wife are interviewed, you can tell he is different than what Brigitte says. Not saying she's lying, but more than likely Stallone (and she) changed. His daughters are for sure spoiled, but otherwise the whole family seems down to earth, caring and good with each other.

Then a lot of questionable choices, bad surgeries, multiple publicity stunts marriages and filty reality shows. Today after all of that, and her good genes plus openly documented plastic surgeries, at 55 she looks like 70ish. What a shame, I used to idolize her so much. Nothing wrong with Stallone IMO.

Stallone, seems like a great guy, but by his own admittance his ego got the better of him during this time period, I don't doubt he was a horrible husband, doesn't make him a bad person and the fact he's made a few great films doesn't make him an angel either.
