    Brilliant vlog! I'm a Londoner, and it's great to see you enjoying it here. Beigel Bake is such a popular place. I went there at about 01:00 am just before Christmas and there was about 30+ in the queue! The Ginger Pig in Borough Market does a lovely sausage roll and Cornish pasties. And for one of the best Full English Breakfasts go to E. Pellicci in Bethnal Green Road (Not far from Brick Lane). A real down to earth friendly place. It's been around for donkeys years. Londons most infamous gangsters went there in the 60's and lots of other famous people. It's on You tube.
    Can't wait to watch your other vlogs!

      We'll have to keep those places in mind for the future then! We absolutely love London, so we'll be back for sure. 🍻
      When we passed Beigel Bake the first time, it was PACKED. This time, it only took us 5/10 minutes, which was great.
      So much to see and eat, but so little time! Next time we'd love to be there on a Sunday, to have a proper Sunday roast. I (Brandon) have never had one in the UK, so suggestions are more than welcome.
      Thanks for watching!

      If you get the chance, you should definitely check out the pizza place. Though they've now changed the name to "Lost Souls Pizza" (I assume to avoid trademark problems)...but it seem the same otherwise. A must do if you're a fan of the film, or horror films in general! They even played songs from the soundtrack. 😁🦇

      I think one place that the UK REALLY shines, is their fusion food. British food itself can sometimes be hit or miss, but the melting of cultures and foods is what really stands out. That tends to be our favorite when we visit the UK!

    As a matter of interest a Yorkshire pudding is traditionally made in a roast meat dish about 9inch x 8inch in the oven when you cook a roast I think you’d call it broiled I think. The pudding will expand like a flat balloon to fill the tin, it was never made for little tart tins never, so the large Yorkshire pudding is a new innovation to make it look good for customers in pubs etc. but it should taste good except it was meant to be cooked in beef or pork fat not oil.

    • @wherearewe-yt
      @wherearewe-yt  Před rokem

      I'd like to try it cooked in beef or pork fat. That sounds amazing. Maybe we could still find a place that still does it that way? 🤔

      There's a place in York that do those, and if you're going to have Yorkshire Puddings, what better place to have them than in Yorkshire, although being from Yorkshire I might be a bit biased 😆

      We've also had a scone in Exeter, the Devon way...now we've got it on the list to try one in Cornwall the other way. 😂

      @@wherearewe-yt in Cornwall a Cornish pasty is a must 😋 they are only allowed to be called Cornish pasties if they're made in Cornwall.
      York is an amazing place, lots of historic sites including many things dating back to Viking times. York Minster is also worth a visit. There's also the shambles, which was JK Rowling's inspiration for Diagon Alley in Harry Potter.

      You should try for yourself- you may be pleasantly surprised! We actually spent less money on food at these markets than we did in some of the pubs we visit (like the one in our previous London video). We like a good pub or chippy, but fusion food is also something the UK does really well- especially London. 😄
