  • In this episode of the Vault Sessions, ‪@noampikelny‬ (Punch Brothers, Leftover Salmon, John Cowan Band) and Stuart Duncan (Nashville Bluegrass Band) play "Piney Woods". Also, Noam discusses learning banjo on a whim, finding Bela, and the influence of Sam Bush's "Late as Usual" album. Stuart talks childhood choices that led him to music, first licks, and almost getting DQed from a fiddle contest.

That tune Piney Woods reminds me of the irish reel The Teetotaler. It sounds like a version of The Teetotaler.
