Watch how I built a jet propelled boat using the very popular Flex Tape! I started with a frame made from PVC pipe, then wrapped it with Flex Tape to make it waterproof. Then finally I mounted some underwater EDF jet propellors to the side to make it go fast! Enjoy

all of your vids are ASTONISHING
For steering you need to either have a variable control for each of the motors, (possibly with some adruino control thing for your smart phone - tilt to turn perhaps) or just add a rudder with a jib arm coming forward to the seat position..
For stability, and an outrigger to at least one side; this could be as simple as two 4' length bits of pipe taped to the top of the boat extending out to the side, with a 6" pipe (capped) and taped to the 4' pipes, parallel to the boat.. flex tape ftw!
Or build a second boat the same size, and connect via 4 pipe beams to make a catamaran.. THAT would be cool :)
At least if he ever gets a leak...he just needs more flex tape

Pretty dang cool! You should coat it with fiberglass now and you would have a permanent solution. Also, separate speed controls for the motors would probably steer it. You obviously gave me some ideas!

Got to be one of the coolest videos on CZcams, the pool noodle idea was cool, I put 4 pool noodles on my Pelican Pursuit Kayak, really helped with the stability and didn't interfere with the paddling or slow it down
