  • Do you want to know how to communicate hazy ideas clearly in meetings? Hazy ideas are ones that aren't 100% constructed. These are the ideas that you keep to yourself because you're afraid you'll sound unprepared or confused. BUT, there is a way to communicate hazy ideas clearly and confidently in work meetings. The technique involves sharing partly-constructed ideas in meetings. When you do this, you can express your ideas clearly and confidently to others and you will stop sounding confused in meetings. You will be able to communicate hazy thoughts clearly and enlist the help of your team in doing this.

Madam your thoughts are so inspiring..... But my idea is to control every thing with Hybrid Nano technology (my own term).......Humans, insects and animals etc......and even defuse Nuclear Bombs.......so that every thing in this universe stay safe.....No cast,no religion and no creed........no people die starving....... Only we need to develop Hybrid Nano technology.... it's my idea......

This is an excellent approach to handle such situations. It has happened several times to me when I missed sharing the "hazy" idea and capitalizing on the opportunity.

Thanks Kara! It’s so true, scenario 3 did happen to me, where someone else brought up the idea that was hazy in my head! I think I’ll try the first phrase, I like that it uses the word ‘clarity’ as well. Can I ask what you’d suggest to someone who doesn’t always come across as assertive: how can that person avoid being perceived as indecisive and sheepish by admitting that the idea is in progress? Should she 😍 modify anything in the phrase? My instinct tells me not, and I’ll try this phrase tomorrow, but I’d be keen to hear your thoughts, if you don’t mind. Thank you, and thank you for another insightful video. đŸ„°đŸŒș🧚

Great question Eszter! I wouldn't change this phrase even for people who are not so assertive. I think the fact that you're being honest about a hazy idea yet you're still communicating it, shows honesty and confidence. I'd love to know how it worked for you.

@@kararonin thank you so much. I did go ahead and use your suggestion on Friday. First in an email, which felt good because it was such a great and new way of engaging the wider team. Then I used the phrase in a subsequent meeting with a reduced number of participants (in all fairness, the meeting was pushed back to late afternoon on a Friday). I wasn’t as articulate as your sentence 😄, but I do think that I managed to convey the point and that your suggestion helped with the conversation, because I didn’t receive any push back on the idea, just suggestions for moving forward. So thank you very much for both the original post and your follow up explanation. đŸ„°đŸ§šI’ll definitely not change it in the future, just practice making it punchier in my rendition, which is still not the clearest.

I think most of the people are afraid of sharing thoughts And idea that they don't really want to share intentionally if they want it to share intentionally they should go Deep into speaking practise .if they continue speak for a long time no matter how many Person are surrounded him .yeah I recall a story ..if you Not fix with good habit Or positive attitude then on growing you will Not feel better with good attitude its like a small sapling its easy to root it out from ground when when it grow And become tree then it become difficult to root it out from Deep of earth ...because its roots clutches the soil so tightly And never get free from it ...
