This is my friend Bruce Giersh's layout. This video is actually a few years old but was originally posted as the raw footage. Its a really great layout so I thought it worthwhile to edit it into a much nicer video. Bruce has been working on his layout for around 20 years now and his attention to detail shows. We are tossing around ideas on doing an update. He has added quite a lot since this was shot. Be sure to subscribe and click the bell and you won't miss out on the update video when it comes out.
Gauge refers to the distance between rails. Yes he uses 3-rail track that is not in scale. However Scale models are made in all gauges. Bruce’s layout is in scale in all but track choice. 😁
Great photography, enjoyable to watch.....very nice layout - I am jealous
Thanks for the comment and watch. His layout is so good I don’t think I could ever match the details, etc.

A railroad model made with high skills, but 3 rail is O gauge. 2 rail is O scale.

Very cool layout I had a question the tanks and silo's that you have did you make those or buy them they really rock yor layout
What did he use for the hand throws on the switch tracks? And, do they actually throw the switch points? Thanks.
There is nothing like an O Gauge layout. HO, N- nopity, nope, nope- gimme O Gauge all day long:)
Nice layout, terrible engineer.
3 rail is not O scale. It's O gauge. O scale is 2 rail DC.
