Here I Brings Epistaxis in Hindi Lecture with Notes includes it's Causes, Symptoms, Treatment in this video.
Epistaxis is nose bleeding which occurs due to any injury or infection to the nose.
Nasal cavity have rich blood supply thus any injury to nose may cause bleeding.
Causes -
- Trauma
- Fracture
- Infection
- Drugs
- Pregnancy
- Hypertension
Symptoms -
- Dark bright bleeding
- Dyspnoea
- Confusion
- Dizziness
- Headache
Treatment -
- Lean forward and pinch nose with index finger and thumb for 5-10 min.
- Cold compression also provided if bleeding is heavy.
- Avoid Blowing of nose and DoSneezing with Open Mouth.

Epistaxis is also called acute hemorrhage or nose bleed. It is a medical condition in which bleeding occurs from the nasal cavity of nostrils. This is a sign of increase in the body’s heat and is also caused due to increased blood pressure and some other systemic disorders. People usually suffer from this condition in the summers.
