Diners get 45 minutes in which to finish 5lb of nachos topped with chicken, beef, carnitas, guacamole, sour cream, tomatoes, peppers, onions, refried beans...the works! I did the same thing like 6 months ago. Binged every video over the course of a month or so 😆 my wife joined and my kids said, not the beard guy again.
My fiance started watching his videos with me about a year ago. Now she has a reminder set for the exact time a video drops on Sunday, and she's become my reminder to watch the latest video. Beard is the guy we all gotta watch out for... 😂😂😂

Fun fact. Adam Richman faced the Mt. Nacheesmo challenge in the season finale of season 3 of Man vs. Food which aired October 20th 2010. So 14 years ago. I used to watch that show religiously. Always been fascinated with food challenges.
So did he win ?
I first saw Mr. Beard in a react video. Something like British people reacting to a British person eating, or something like that, and now it's about a year later and I've watched this man eat about 100 British and American breakfasts. And I don't regret one minute.

I'm in the UK and have to say massive respect for the Staff, they were tuned in and super friendly. So nice to see these food "joints" with genuine charm and character, and not a pompous attitude with rip off menus.
Am quite shocked you call this "tuned in" and "super friendly". I thought this was amongst the worst service staff I ve ever seen on this channel going by "no f´s given" except the cook (or let s say the guy who served the dessert) who saved this...but gee, there s much room for improvement and apparently, that also applies to the food judging by these impressions.
I live about 45 minutes from ann arbor, it's the worst.

My roommate and I used to make a chicken nachos dish on Sundays during football (American) season. We'd invite a few people over, but there were never more than 5 of us total. We weighed the pan of nachos once and it was 11 lbs (5kg). The real selling point was that we made it all ourselves. We even took corn tortillas and quartered them, then fried them up to make the nachos. Good times.

Recently found this channel and totally addicted. Interesting that he mentioned Adam from Man V Food whilst in Illinois. Im from Ireland but a few years ago I was driving from Chicago to St Louis with friends on Route 66, we stopped along a few places from Man V Food, namely, Darcy's Pint, Cozy Dog Drive Tru and Pappys and did the challenges from the show.
You gained a new subscriber here after watching just one episode. Love how you interact with other customers and dont just talk for 30 mon before doing a challenge.. you get the job done and are entertaining to watch!!!! Yeah Santitas are the most salty I've had...it's like Frito created the brand just to offer an extra salty variety.
The hardest part of this challenge was probably navigating the never ending detours, and poorly marked roads of ann arbor.
As much as I'm still loving your content. I'm missing old school beard challenges. I would love to see those traditional full menu challenges come back for a while.

Best thing about you Adam is you don’t go to places and complain like some other competitive eaters and if you have any grumbling (I’ve only seen one in Vegas and was completely warranted,) you proceed with tact and manners. And you don’t go to ayce places and complain when they don’t let you eat 1000$ of product. You do real challenges.
I'm big fan of Adam so I will take him at his word that he hasn't ever watched Man v Food...but I do think the show (and Adam Richman) was the reason for the popularity of professional eating today...and so maybe Adam should give props to it?

I have been following you for quite a while and have seen most of your videos.
This is the first challenge I have seen you attempt that I thought could actually be dangerous.
There is a limit to how much salt the human body can safely consume in one sitting.
I think you will be cramp free for a good while. 😆
