To me it's just so insane seeing how much music a lot of these kids have NEVER heard of. Like I'm not that old, I'm 28, but I've heard most of these songs they react to far too many times to count. Like my parents barely listen to music at all, these songs were just around when I was a kid. Still on the radio, and they still are, just not as much, but like my girl by the temptations... I couldn't imagine not knowing that song. It just baffles me. A lot of them even listen to rap, but have somehow never listened to a song by Eminem. Like I'm starting to wonder if a lot of them listen to anything at all. They don't even know how much great music is out there that theyre missing out on. I feel like since they grew up with horrible music, they just think "oh, I guess good music doesn't exist yet." They'll look at how many views a video by the Beatles has and think "huh, that's pretty good for an older band." They don't even grasp that CZcams hasn't been around very long and that if setting like that were around in the 60s, the Beatles would have infinity views. It wouldn't even be a real number. It's sad that they look at the view count before even giving a song a chance. To the girl on here, I don't mean you. You actually seem like you got a good head on your shoulders and I enjoy watching your reactions. All I ask is just keep up the good work and don't sell out and just do whatever a reaction channel is "supposed" to do or whatever. Just keep being you. That's why I like your channel. I like watching YOU react to stuff. Not someone who does every single thing like everyone else. Stay unique. Keep up the good work!

What I always loved about this song is how Frida and Agnetha belt the chorus in different registers: Agnetha at the top and Frida below, but with the same insane energy. Them having different registers is a huge part of the ABBA sound - their blend is sensational, yes, but also something exciting happened to their sound when Frida strained to get up there with Agnetha.

Great reaction! ABBA is the greatest group ever, hailing from Sweden. English is their 2nd language, and they translated their PHENOMENAL lyrics into English. ABBA stands for:
    Agnetha Faltskog (Blonde)
    Benny Anderson (Piano)
    Bjorn Ulvaeus (Guitar)
    Anifrid (Frida) Lyngstad
Agnetha and Frida's voices are otherworldly. There is no such thing as a bad ABBA song. We were spoiled growing up in the 70's with their music. No other Artists can touch them.

Hello and congratulations for your second reaction to ABBA songs
It is ABBA, the excellent Swedish pop group, the best, most versatile and most important group of the 70s, in the post BEATLES decade (the revolutionary group of the 60s)
ABBA, as in its time BEATLES, was a musical and cultural phenomenon, and its legacy lives on
ABBA is an acrostic with initials of their first names
    They was two couples:
    Agnetha (blonde lead vocal) &
    Björn (guitarist and songwriter)
    Benny (pianist and songwriter) &
    Anni Frid (brunette lead vocal)
"Dancing Queen" (1976) is a beautiful song, which shines in the loftiness of its vocal harmonies
And the music is bright and enveloping, from the initial chord it introduces you into the atmosphere of the disco and invites you to dance
English public has voted it as one of the songs they want to hear the most, because of the feeling of joy and energy it gives them (another is "Don't stop me now" by Queen)
ABBA recording between 1972/1982, have a wonderful series of more than 20 world hits and no less than 50 other great songs included:
    Waterloo
    S.O.S.
    Mamma Mia
    Fernando
    Dancing Queen
    Knowing me knowing you
    Take a chance on me
    Chiquitita
    Does your mother know
    The winner takes it all
    Super trouper
    I suggest you to reaction:
"Chiquitita" at Concert for UNICEF in United Nations 1979
(their major hit in Hyspano America)
    czcams.com/video/oMIw_y9uRT8/video.html
(This Concert was an idea from Bee Gees to donated royalties to Unicef of all songs was singing that night)

Oh boy, I'm so old ! 😎 Realising that there's a whole generation that is not familiar with ABBA. One of my favorite songs of 1976 (when I started as a student). Hope that many youngsters will apreciate their great songs and thd compositions from Björn and Benny. And of course the two AA's were fenominal.

Glad you are loving ABBA and appreciating their talent. Everyone of their huge hits were so unique and they never repeated themselves. I recommend you react to “Knowing Me, Knowing You” (my favorite ABBA song) which was a huge hit for them and another example of their variety of sound. Enjoy your ABBA journey, you are in for a treat 😊

These sound like simple song, but they are incredibly difficult with 4 different harmonies. Both Anna and Frida have their own harmony, they the boys get one each...then they have to sing it in tune. Back in 1977 I went to their first Australian Concert after winning Eurovision in 1974. Agnetha is pronounce ANN YETTA.

Loved ABBA as a kid growing up and all the way thru to now. Bunny & Bjorn amazing songwriters. Of course with the blessed vocals of Agnetha (married to Bjorn) and Anna-Frid (married to Benny...playing Piano). Of course both couples divorced but remained friends and reunited over the years. And of course stage musicals and films based on the songs now covering two Mama Mia movies. I think they r gr8.
If u get a chance to see their song 'Waterloo' please do. It's what put them on the big stage as they won the highly competitive 'Eurovision Song Contest' with it in 1974. All European countries still compete for this every year. I remember my family dancing along in our living room. I was very young & it was so happy. So glad you liked this.xx 😊💕

Björn and Benny, the guys in the group wrote The musical ABBA that included ABBA's songs. The Movie Mamma Mia is based on that musical and brought new attention to ABBA's music and especially the Song Mama mia that became a favorite. I was at an ABBA concert in Sweden back in the days when they were huge. It was a small outdoor concert and I was standing like 20 meters from the stage with clear view over the stage, It was amazing.

I'm 65 now and back in the day ...I hated Disco & Pop Music. I even had a T-Shirt that said Disco Sucks! ..However; when I heard Frida & Agnetha's voices harmonize it definitely got my attention. I would never admit that then in '76 ..to all my rock and roll buddies! Today, I'm completely blown away by this group ...but mostly the amazing vocals of Frida & Agnetha. The fact that they were and are so beautiful escaped me back then... simply because I didn't like Disco music. Technically, I still don't but these two women together singing just amazingly.....is legendary. Of course kudos to their husbands back then for the song writing . .....

Dancing Queen is such a fun song! This is their biggest song.❤️ You would be out drinking at a bar after work, this song would come on and almost everybody would get up to dance. You need to watch the movie "Mama Mia" with big name actors. Abba took their songs and made a play that takes place on a Greek Island. It was so successful they turned it into a movie. You must watch that movie. The scene where they are singing Dancing Queen is so fun. Do yourself a favor and watch that moive. It is good and filmed on a beautiful Greek Island. They made a sequel that is OK but not as good as Mama Mia.
