I got me a 94 f-150 as my first vehicle and had to get a whole new remanufactured engine for it for 3,700 right when I got it bc the person before me did almost no maintenance to it and the oil looked like jello. I was considering giving up on it but then I started to fix stuff and learned on it on my own which is way cheaper and in my opinion funner. Now it’s doing pretty good nice project and definetly gets noticed by people
Looks nice! I've been looking for a bracket or something to hang a gauge from, trying to do anything to keep from drilling into that plastic. Now that I see yours I will probably just cut mine too.
Thanks man! If you have the same two squares in your dash plastic, I would shoot for the square thats closer to your radio otherwise the steering wheel semi blocks a clear view from driving position. Not a huge deal but if I had to do it again I’d move it over.
I got me a 1996 ford f250. Got it for rent money. Looking to restore it and this is probaly the only video I have liked that someone has put some effort into that's in the salt belt.
Would have went with a Dana 60 straight front axle with leaf springs gone away with the coil shock or torsion bar setup I do not like that setup If You Haul a lot of weight on the rear it makes the front tires bow out like an upside-down letter A or a v I should say if you're looking in front of it I just not it doesn't ride right Dana 60 or straight Axle just put a straight out of a 450 or Super Duty there's only a couple things different on the frames and if you want to put it back to original you have to cut out the plate for the left and right frame form and then add the brackets up underneath the cab Mount so you can put your leaf spring and if you're not worried about the four-by-four light coming on in the dash you would also need the computer and wiring harness to unless you're not worried about that you can just have the manual shift it don't know what's in gear out of gear by locking your hubs in and out

Lol the Busch light is a must for any Ford truck restoration. My rule is 1 Busch per every 2 bolts
We're going to be feeling pretty good for every two bolts
