Their back stories are pretty hard, Nova was a troubled youth after her parents split up, ending up in youth care that she ran away from, sleeping in mall stairwells, they met up over a Rap show Nova was putting on, Tom asked if he could have a spot, Nova said he could if he helped put out flyers, he'd never Rapped in public before. They became friends but went in different directions, Tom fell into the partying lifestyle of Rappers, heading towards alcoholism, eventually having a mental breakdown through depression and anxiety, he was taken back to his mom's place where he didn't emerge from the basement for about 9 months, thinking he wouldn't get out alive, but he did and changed his ways and the direction of his music. Nova got her record deal, but she didn't want to be used, she was dropped unceremoniously. They've both been broken and through mutual understanding and support they are now bigger than the sum of their parts.
Tom wrote a love song just for Nova on valentines day and had no plan on releasing it publicly but decided to do it anyway the song is called GHOST and its great love song from Tom to Nova and took #1 on the charts #HOG4LIFE

I didn't care for this one when I first heard it, but I love it now after many more listens. That's happened a lot with songs Tom is in, but I always give Tom and Nova's songs a lot more chances than I give anyone else's. Their livestreams are a bit fun too. She has a second channel Not Nova Rockafeller and every time they do their reactions to Tom's new songs, they just have me laughing throughout their videos. It's like they are always my #1 reaction to any song they react to of his. It's her newer channel though so I think they've only done it to a handful of songs so far though. Buttholes and Everybody Hates Me have bloopers after too. I'm sure there's more but I can't think right now.
