So he went to ‘manscape’ his balls, bum cheeks, and everything in between at a laser hair removal clinic who have received many one star reviews. Vice approached the business to be a part of a 'man's day at the spa.' Not once ever mentioned what they were actually doing. 'One of the top rated Clinics challenges some of there 1 star reviews while Taj comes in for Laser Hair Removal for his Balls n All' would be a better title. Very disappointed and saddened by the dishonesty. We are not perfect and yes we have a handful of 1 stars out of our 900 reviews (mostly 5's) and was very excited to talk about them with Tajy...if we known that this was the result we never would have been a part of it:(

This definitely seems like the best business of all the one star reviews. She was genuinely sweet and humble about his questions. As well as doing a good job and talking with him along the way. I’m glad he shed a light on her business.
She also went way above and beyond by helping him shave, most places wouldn’t do that much, it’s too ineffective time wise. They may have a small little spot but she really went in there and got the job done for him lol

the issue with experiences like this, just like tattoos, is that it’s the client’s job to take care of themselves before and after the procedure.
10000000% THIS! Especially with laser hair removal it takes up to 6 treatments to actually have the hair removed, so the between care is essential!

As a laser hair tech, everything she said as a part of the consultation is absolutely true. Including that is easier if the client has an erection. She doesn’t really explain why so I will: you need to hold the skin taught, and when the client is erect, there is less excess skin to pull and stretch so less risk of cutting during shaving and less risk of overlapping the treatment area too much.
There is definitely risk of scarring, especially on darker skin tones. The problem is that lasers aren’t really advanced enough to treat them, the laser is not able to differentiate the pigmentation of the skin and the pigmentation of the hair. It’s sucky and a good tech will explain that, a bad tech will go forward with the treatment and risk burning them. It’s even worse because if they do burn someone with a darker skin tone, they will scar more prominently since they are far more prone to hyper pigmentation.
Everything I saw during the treatment looked correct, and she did own the mistakes of not communicating. I respect her and don’t think she’s a poor laser tech at all
What made you want to become a hair removal tech? did you take school?
@@randymarsh9488 didn’t really go after it, fell into it after esthetician school. I got hired at a Medspa that would hire me directly after esthetician school as long as I had my laser certification, which I did. Laser certification includes many different types not just laser hair removal. I wanted the prestige of working at a Medspa and if it meant I had to laser bare men and women, I did.
I no longer work there now but I still use my license and continue to educate myself on new laser technology.

Janiece is awesome. If i lived in the area i would never have considered this before seeing how professional see is, so clearly knows exactly what she is doing.
I think what makes Taji's reviews so great is he goes in knowing it's a low rated place, but he has such a hopeful expectation for them. He approaches the "interview" calmly and doesn't make anything seem confrontational, he's just a guy getting his balls lasered asking about the negative reviews. I want to give Taji 5 stars in everything, it's been so great watching him become more comfortable and confident, not just in front of the camera, but with himself.

I've been binging this guy's videos this afternoon and i've noticed that he's often not trying to roast these people with their shitty reviews. he actually seems honest about wanting to get their side of the story. there are a couple businesses that seemed irredeemable, but this lady owned up to the mistakes and/or miscommunications.

This is one of the only (if not the only) business he’s gone to that actually seemed really good. I was genuinely surprised by it. Normally they get very defensive when he brings up the reviews and you can kinda see why it’s so lowly rated, but this woman seemed so kind and made him comfortable and was super informative.
I hope the editor who has to go through all the raw footage to edit over Taji's privates is getting adequate remuneration.
