    My dad had a way that was similar to the triangle ingot way. You kind of roll it up to midway then attach the two diagonal ends together thus having only one noodle corner in the center.

    I have all my filling ingredients covered and refrigerated, and Ill leave them alone until the flavours marry. I thought that I might use a little of the waiting time profitably by looking for different ways to wrap them>
    Turns out, I was right. My time was very well spent. Ingots it is!!! Thank you!

    I like to make the "ravioli" style, cut a circle around the edge with a biscuit cutter, then pleat the wrapper around the edge to make a bowl and pocket style that holds sauce really well

    • @CiCiLi
      @CiCiLi  Před 3 lety

      Was it water or juice? If it's water, it could be that your wonton has some leak. If it's juice, then that simply means your wonton is very juicy. ☺️

    I guess there are a few other things you can do with circular wrappers - or does that technically make it jiaozi (饺子)?

    • @CiCiLi
      @CiCiLi  Před 8 lety +1

      +Jonathon Simon, Yep. The round wrappers are jiao zi wrappers. And the square egg wrappers are for wonton.
