More buggy than beta 1. My Home Screen icons disappear when enabling dark mode and the only way to fix it is to restart my phone. 15 Pro Max.
EDIT:
I found a workaround. If you switch between small and large icons it fixes it but you have to do that every time you go from light to dark mode
iOS 18 beta 2 is awesome updating my main iPhone it is a iPhone 12. Love your videos Brandon best Apple CZcamsr. Keep doing what youâre doing donât change anything.

Horrible. Please do some research on the Time Limit bug from iOS 18. My data was literally locked for 2 freaking weeks and not even beta 2 fixed it.
FYI: Beta 2 updates are historically more buggy than Beta 1 updates (for .0 releases), so don't be surprised if there are still quite a few bugs with this build

@@4AJXsame here I downloaded for iPad, Watch ultra and phone , the phone are slow on updating and feel hot , I place the phone in the fridge for a while đwatch is 648MB thou, the screen mirroring had been long time in window phone companion for iPhone and and Android and Samsung had it own app, Apple should be up their game a stable OS

@@BrandonButchYouâre the go - to person i check for beta updates! For the past 2 weeks, every day beta 1 has been released I check everyday to see if youâve uploaded. I search you and then Apple. I have been a viewer for so long since iOS 17 betas first released you are always so informative thank you for all the videos you make. When you did your Apple Event live I was there but I didnât get recognized because of how much people were there and showed love to your channel and you. Keep up the amazing work and donât stop posting!

Hey Brandon are the changes in Phone app (recent calls) still here? (Lol). Also do calls have icon (arrow) to show if it is incoming or outgoing? Or missed? Also in settings>messages there is an option to show or not profile photo of contact. Is there something similar in settings>Phone since we do have contacts pictures now in recent calls?Thanks in advance.

For the apple apps, I'm pretty sure most (if not all) already have dark mode versions but only a few 3rd party apps actually have the dark mode change I think
Is the issue resolved where you couldnât download apps over cellular and you had to use WiFi only?

Apprehensive about upgrading to the second beta soley because updating to beta one made the battery life on my 14pm phenomenal and I donât wanna go back lol. Btw, I canât remember if you covered this in a past video but pray tell, have you found the wallet icon in control center? Mine is nonexistent after coming over to iOS 18

Did it fix the bug where the volume gets lower when receiving notifications??
I was worried that was just me. I havenât seen anyone else complain about that. Only way I figured out how to solve it was to send a text and then the volume goes back up.
Yes i have that bug too even on carplay. Volume gets low. You have to pause and play to fix it.

Yeah works for me too. iPhone 15 pro.
When I do geekbench tests, I disable wifi, data, bluetooth etc, restart it, leave it to idle for 10 or so minutes and only then will I run it. Usually rules out any discrepancies.

Yeah so far that seems to be the case. Some of my android people have the RCS message and some still donât. Maybe carrier and/or device specific.

Iâm just happy my notifications are working again.. Beta 1 I couldnât get anything to work on the Lock Screen. I would have to go into settings and switch notifications on and off to get it to work for 5 minutes. Seems fine now

Hey! Running the software on my iPhone 15 Pro Max but still getting no setting in the Lock Screen display to change the option to open the app from the Lock Screen?? - Also, my hotspot logo has not changed?...
I LOVE iPhone mirroring and see plenty of real world use opportunities. The biggest issue I've found so far is opening locked apps on the iPhone via iPhone mirroring and how to unlock them. Neither Face ID or the fingerprint sensor work and there's no option to input your iPhone passcode.

Hi Brandon Iâm a fan of yours youâre amazing with your videos I love them I love my Apple updates. I have a question I hope you can answer. I have been having issues with trying to change my lock screen I try holding on it and nothing works i have done a hard reset on my phone and it still has not been doing it is this a bug or do I need to go into my settings I have the iPhone 15 pro if you can see this and give me any advice would be appreciated thank you!
Still having a Screen Time bug. Instead of Settings crashing though, it just freezes where I canât control anything and have to force close the app!

Mirroring is a nice touch. Think itâs dumb to have the Dynamic Island up there for the purpose of simply looking like the screen. They can use the Mac notification panel for phone notifications when in mirroring mode.
The Dynamic Island is an actual UI component in screenshots and mirroring. The notch doesnât show in screenshots or mirroring.

RCS is currently working for me. Itâs pretty exciting.
Finally, beta 1 was really buggy
To me it wasnât buggy at all, aside from initial install
For me 18 beta 1 has been way more stable than 17 was when it was on beta. This is the price we pay for wanting to get the latest features ahead of time.

The mirroring feature. Not understanding the hype. I can text, compose mail and read it, work in Note and drop pics into the app just with the Mac. Why mirror? Everything you said I can just use my Mac. Just want to understand what I am not seeing here.

I donât think Iâll specifically start up the iphone mirroring app very often, but being able to open any notification on my mac is something I have wished for in forever (actually, I always just thought about being able to see the notifications so this is even more than what I hoped for)
Apparently, you can do all of that without your phone being nearby. Your phone can be in another room and you can do all those things without the phone being with you. I think thatâs amazing.
What is funny about this, that my old Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and The Samsung Galaxy Tab could do this back in 2013âŠ.Tim Crook is really pushing my buttons in all the wrong ways

RCS is region dependent I guess.. I don't see that option in Messages, as you showed.

Worked in beta 1 and now in 2 for me. iPhone 15 pro.

Beta 2 runs smooth
I find it good as face unlock runs smoother compared to beta 1, also haptic issues are resolved on my end.
I know that it will take time but can you make videos on whatâs new in WatchOS 11 beta 2, VisionOS 2 beta 2, MacOS Sequoia beta 2, TVOS 18 beta 2, and IpadOS 18 beta 2.
