Yes! I was about to comment just this. I use a cane most of the time, but I do use a wheelchair occasionally. It made my little disabled heart happy to see that sketch.
@@ragingartist903 it just feels so inclusive, especially since our world is so mobility unfriendly, at base (aka organic terrain is, at most times, SUPER difficult to walk on when your legs don't work quite right, even moreso, to try to wheel over.) And people who don't have to deal with being in the chair, being largely those in charge of designing the things we use (ramps, flat spaces into buildings and automatic doors) really doesn't help. Lol, okay so a lot of it does, litterally help people, but I have come across so many ramps I can't do on my own, bathrooms where they have a wheelchair stall, but the door to get into the washroom itself, is really heavy, and at an angle where I have Parallel parking horror flashbacks from learning to drive.
Sorry for the ramble, I just wanted to rant about the inaccessability of "accessabiliy" and how refreshing the inclusion of the character in the wheelchair. Also, I'm falling asleep lol.

This is purely constructive criticism.
I think with a lot of your colours you really need to turn the saturation down, it really takes away the quality of the line art. Also some of your poses look really stiff so it could be an idea to practice posing. I also think that some (not all) of your characters' preportions look quite off and quite top heavy. Finally I really don't recommend shading with black and/or the spray paint tool, it takes the quality away. However, I do appreciate your style. I really enjoy seeing how your art has developed and I encourage you to never give up!

I struggle a lot with my drawings being too stiff, and I don't know what to do about it... :(
@@homeleipa5932 here's a lil bit of advice ;) break down your poses into shapes! The torso can be a circle and the hips are generally circle shaped. Lots of circles everywhere... on the parts where limbs bend. yeah! you can use triangles and squares depending on the body type! hope this helped! and don't forget, never stop practicing and drawing!
just a small bit of advice
instead of shading with darker version of the base colour, try using a warm/cool colour or purple with different layer modes like shade and lumi (or wharever its called on procreate), also try and keep the shade colour and the lumi colour the same, it ties the piece together a bit more
try going back over your lineart with a slightly thicker brush in places to add a bit of variation and interest to the lineart, it spices up the piece a bit more
also try not to use black lineart for everypiece, try using red-browns, blues or purples, black tends to flaten a drawing, ruining all the hardwork put into shading
of course you dont have to listen to me, these are just things i;ve found to that help when i draw
Hey Echo! I know I’m not a professional but I think I can give you a bit of shading advice! ^^
When something is shaded with black it can sometimes come off as muddy looking, one nice trick is to shade with the color that is right next to your base color on the color wheel (so for blue for example you would shade with purple and highlight with green:D) Also I think cel shading looks great with ur style!! And I adore how you draw faces ;-;

All of the stuff that was said about Melanie was fake, The friend who said all them stuff only said it because her song wasn't doing as well as Melanie's if i remember correctly and wanted attention to go away from Melanie and onto her. I don't know if you knew that or not.

Autumn Smith yes! And there were too many plot holes in Timothy’s story!
Melanie actually released a song right after called Piggyback that basically explains what happened in a song kinda way.
timothy also has a mental disorder that didn't necessarily make her do that but its characterized by stuff like that

just to let you know I personally believe all the mel drama was fake due to all the evidence that melanie has compared to timothy Search mels corner for most of the proof he is a pretty un biased person who wasnt on either side first but dug up some pretty cool evidence

I love your art a lot and you've always been an inspiration to me. But when you mentioned the Melanie Martinez thing....I kinda cringed with sad. Ever since the news of it came out I had kept up with it because I couldn't imagine someone whose music I loved so much and someone who wanted to spread kindness would do such a thing. I have researched a lot and I have come to the conclusion that it was a false accusation, the claims do not fit with the timeline of Melanie's tour dates and both of their Instagram posts. The individual who claimed they were assaulted had dressed up as Melanie for an Instagram picture...after the claimed date they were assaulted. I can understand a victim still associating with their attacker, but never have I heard of one willingly cosplaying as them after their traumatic experience. I also watched a body communication reading of sorts and it broke down the physical response the individual made during an interview about it. Not to mention the interviewers were really younge and honestly had no clue what they were doing. Come to find out not long after the accusations of the person claiming to be assaulted, they dropped a new album. Leading me and many others to believe they used a sleazy tactic to get attention so they had a significant following that way more people wanted to buy their album. I'll admit Melanie's first tweet about the issue was kind of shotty but her second tweet about it was much more articulate and well worded. I don't want to say that we shouldn't believe anyone who says they have been assaulted in any way, but when they are celebrities accusing other celebrities or just regular people accusing them, it is always smart to take it with a grain of salt and attempt to look more into it as possible. I myself almost cut Melanie's music out of my life, but I couldn't, its resonated with me too much. Which is why I decided to research before making that rash decision.
The fact that the 'victim' posted about the incident on Twitter instead of going to the authorities alone should say enough to people who still think melanie actually sexually assaulted someone.

I was 100% against Melanie originally. I stopped following her on everything and stopped listening to her music. But like you said, I started to do research and it really just doesn’t add up.

On procreate
1. How to you fill in flat colour ?
2. What pencil tool do you use in the app?
Not sure on one but I'm pretty sure that's an apple pencil
In order to fill in flat colour (like a buckettool) you have to hold the colour circle and dont let go. The colour should pop off the page and you can drag to wherever you want to fill in.
oh! And also... is procreate worth the price (because it’s quite expensive and I want to know if it’s worth the price)

(Tip for colouring people) get the skin colour and make a big ol smudge of it. Lower the opacity of a colour that is as vibrant as you want and draw a line through the skin-smudge. Take that colour that is a combination of the skin and your chosen colour and use that! Do that with all your colours and then BOOM! All the colours compliment each other!
I'm not sure if it's still relevant but: if you want to know where to put shadows, you can either use a reference or study anatomy.
With shadows you have to take into account that darker shadings will have to move down the color wheel, so orange becomes more red, red more purple and so on. You can't expect that the color will be alright if you just darken the color, that is only going to make the drawing look muddy, it's a thing I struggled with a lot myself.
It's also a good idea to saturate the color more once you moved down on the color wheel.
It takes a bit of practice and it's a thing you have to try out yourself to really understand, but once you do, it get a lot easier and faster to pick a color

If you want to get better at colour, use a colour wheel and use colours that are complimentary to eachother. Try moving the colour around and finding good shades. It's good to use one very bright colour and have the rest be desaturated. It's also very helpful to try think about things like a grey actually looking like a green when put next to other colours. Hope this helped!

The alpine green, sea foam green, rose pink, cloud grey, and charcoal black color pallet reminds me of watermelon- I kept thinking watermelon soda every time it came up in the video.
