The girl in the beginning is the little girl as an adult
Little confusing, but yeah..I see it..lol.
@@BirdmansPlace ... It's the glasses. They identify her as it bounces between her as a child and an adult.
A childhood that never teaches u self respect or worth will put you in that life of abusive and meaningless relationships. “Threw her life in the floor” resonates with those feelings very well. I’ve been that drunk girl, in both scenarios. I’ve been taken advantage of. That one individual that acted those man and did exactly like the video, I don’t know his name and I never saw him again but I never forgot him or stopped appreciating or respecting him for his kindness!!
"This is probably gonna be a quick paced fun song." 😂
lol..yeah, I was off on that one..lol.
Love this song!! You know his mom raised him right!!
Yep...absolutely she did. :-)
That is the difference between a boy and a man. This is what I'm teaching my boys.
Then you are teaching them right. That's what all little boys should learn. Great job, Mom. :)
@Grandson of a Moonshiner well Rosie Palmer is always an option. You want to spend money on a woman an expect sex to be reciprocated, pay a hooker. Otherwise, she doesn't owe you a damn thing.
a real man would do exactly what the song says. I'm so glad my dad raised my brother that way, and that my brother has raised his son that way. i've loved this song since the first time I heard it.
You couldn't be more right. A real man understands that a woman is precious, and needs to be taken care of, not taken advantage of. The song is most definitely very cool.
It's a girl growing up with "daddy issues" as most say and she finally meets a real man! I love this song!!
I do too...Amazing song.
I saw an interview with Chris Janson and he said he and another man in the band (guitarist I think) wrote the song because this is how he wants men to treat their daughters when they are grown and drunk, just take them home. 💗
Love that...so cool...so real. I feel the same.
Amen Brother!! Just be a man!! Great comments!!
Thank you, brother. I appreciate that. Shouldn't be too hard, right?
My favorite song by him. Wish all men were like this
That song is awesome. Love Chris Janssen.
Most definitely. The guy can be light hearted, but can be serious too...and a great voice.
What a great message!
This is one of my favorite songs. I love it
Definitely a cool song. Loved it.
Exactly what every hormone raging boy needs to hear growing up...
Yep... Couldn't agree more.
Yes it's right she grew up with men taking advantage of her mom then her and it shocked her when that man didn't take her home that's why because his a man thank u for this reaction birdman love the shirt and i hope u and ur family have a blessed and fun Christmas and New Year
Yeah... That was such a cool song. Absolutely love the message. Thank you so much. I really appreciate that. Same to you.
Birdman you're a true gentleman
Thank you so much ma'am. I appreciate that. To me it's just common decency. You are very welcome.
Chris Janson had Broadway in Downtown Nashville shut down at 4am for this song
Wow...that is friggin awesome. I love that.
My understanding of the video is this. The little girl in the video is now the adult that the man takes home and locks her door and left his number. and that when shes a little girl in the video, thats how she was born, a guy taking advantage of her mom when she was drunk. Great song and message here.
I seen this after you first dropped it, but surprisingly I didn't comment. This is easily Chris Janson's best song and I'm so upset it didn't get as much airplay or didn't chart very high for him, or win him any awards the year this song came out
This is my favorite song by him as well. And such a great message. The video only made it even better.
Love this song
Definitely. Very cool song.
Awesome!!!Your at 2100!!!!Congratulations Bird Man 🤗🤗🤗🥳🥳🥳.
Well, not quite yet..I'm at 2009..but with you guys helping, I will get there soon. :) Thank you ma'am. :)
Absolutely LOVE this song!!!!
Love this song, love your reaction and love that there’s 0 dislikes!
lol...I love that there's 0 dislikes also. Thank you so much for the kind words. I really appreciate it. God Bless. Much love to ya.
Every boy should be taught this message. Great song.
This sends a powerful message to all males. If you want to prove that you're a true man do what this says. I can definitely tell you're a good true man and this world needs more men like you. 🙂
Thank you so much, Katie. I really appreciate that. Means a lot. :)
You're welcome! Just stating the truth!
I love this song, it’s message is pure and real. Love Chris too! You first said you expected this one to be fun and it tickled my funny bone because I knew tho it wasn’t what you expected, you’d really like this one. Another good one! Blessed be ✌️
Same to you...lol. Yeah..it was a surprise...a good one though. I loved it.
I've loved this song since the first time I heard it. A great song for our kids to hear, too!
Couldn't agree more. Very good message to it.
Love you!!!! You are an amazing man!!!! Your mama raised you right!! I have 2 boys your age and that makes me so happy what you said!!!
Thank you so so much for all your kind words. It truly does mean a lot. I try to be the best I can. I wear my heart on my sleeve, but it's who I am. I'm not ashamed of it. Much love.
The little girl is the woman at the end. She was the one who got hurt too. It shows how she went from not trusting men to finally trusting men again.
"That's the difference between a boy and a man" is the truest line i've ever heard and it is spot on here.
Excellent song excellent reaction as usual!!
Thank you brother. I appreciate that, as always... LOL. Much love to ya.
This song was written by three dads
I love this song ! It’s really refreshing
Isn't it though? Beautiful song.
Kenny Chesney’s song Better as a memory will hit you in the heart you’ve should definitely listen to it
I will put it on the list. Thank you very much for the request. I appreciate it. Much love to ya.
It’s cold here and at the end of my days I settle down for the night with some reactions from birdman and my night is complete . I love how you make us feel at home here on your channel keep being awesome
Awww...thank you so much for that. I really appreciate that so much. I'm glad you enjoy it. I am going to keep being me, so if you think that's awesome, then I will keep being awesome...lol. :) Much love to ya.
I LOVE THIS SONG! Chris Janson is favorite artist!!!! Chris Stapleton legit stole the "Song of the Year" award from this song!
It really is a beautiful song. Absolutely love it.
@@BirdmansPlace He is a great guy! I have a poster and an album CD signed by him. He will make it big someday!
@@thelivingmiracle Wow..very cool. I am a memorabilia guy...he is awesome.
@@BirdmansPlace same, I love memorabilia
love this song. don't know how it took me so long to see you did this reaction. I always love seeing people reacting to this song and their thought process.
Ps: nice RKO shirt
lol...thank you, my friend. I appreciate it. Orton is a legend. And yes..this song is amazing. Opened my eyes to Chris Janson as more than just a funny type artist. All I had heard from him was Buy Me A Boat at this time. He has some really good stuff.
The woman in the story is the little girl
Oh, congrats on 2k, darlin'! 🍸🍸
Well thank ya ma'am. I appreciate it. :)
I didn't listen to that song when it was first released back in 2017 as I thought it's another Bro-Country song because of the title (I know I shouldn't judge a song by its title, and I'm really sorry for that). Then it was nominated for Video of the Year at ACM Awards in 2018, and then I decided to give it a try, and man, I couldn't be more wrong. Not a dad yet, but I have two beautiful nieces, and all the words in this song are the ones I want to say to all the young boys out there. Another great reaction, Mr. Birdman. Cheers, sir!
Thank you, my friend. I appreciate it. Yeah..I judged it by the title too. I was off. Beautiful song..and so true.
The little girl is the woman in the beginning when she was younger
Thank you...yeah I was a little confused...lol
For sure brother. I do have a special request, a few years ago my grandfather passed away around this time and one thing that really connected us is our love of classic country music, most of all Randy Travis. His song “walked on water” makes me think of him
@@jonathanreeder9894 I will put it on my list, brother. Thank you. Much love to ya.
For my comment on this video I will use the three letters on your shirt. I'm RKO'd. Wow. Thanks buddy.
lol...Thank you brother. Glad you enjoyed it. Much love to ya, my friend.
Great reaction to a great song with a great message! If u want the cool fun songs with Chris Jansen check out “Good Vibes” or “Waitin on 5”
I will put them on the list. Thank you brother. I appreciate that.
Awesome song love your reactions. So honest and heartfelt.could you react to falling by Garry styles please.
Thank you so much for the kind words. I will check it out. Thank you. Much love to ya.
The girl he took home EAS the girl growing up
The little girl is the "drunk girl" from the beginning they use the glasses as a visual to tie it together.
See, I wondered that too, but then what about the beginning? The drunk girl was her Mom. She took her to the dance, watched her try on the dress, and the little girl iced her arm. I guess it makes sense though...they look exactly alike. I can see it.
@@BirdmansPlace no that was a different woman that was "drunk girls" mom taking her to the father daughter dance when "drunk girl" was little. Basically the video is showing that "drunk girl" didn't have a positive male role model to teach her how a man should treat her growing up (e.g. watching her mom getting abused) and although it looks like a boy did take advantage of her in high school or college when she was drunk the man from the beginning and end of the video is showing her how it should be.
The little girl looks exactly like my niece!
Awww...she's a cutie.
By the way as I'm sure you figured out the disclaimer at the beginning was referring to the implied sexual assault that happened to the girl at the college party.
Oh yeah...for sure.
The more I watch this song, the crux of the entire imagery seems to center around the girls broken life. Its not so much about laying the girl in her bed , but what a person, by doing this possibly brings healing....through a selflessness
The lady at the beginning is the little girl all grown up. You see how her father wasn't there for her at the dance and abused her mother so you see why she doesn't know what a good man is. Then you see her taken advantage of at the college party. Then she's finally met a true man who treated her right.
👍👍👍👍
Thank you, my friend. I appreciate it.
Luke comes :- Refrigerator Door. Watch it or not it's upto you Sir, but it's light & true
Interesting..I will put it on the list. Thank you. Thinking about a Luke Combs countdown like I'm going to do with Queen. What do you think?
@@BirdmansPlace Sure Sir, you can start whichever song you like to start your Luke Combs countdown, but the finish should be with Refrigerator Door
@@BetterCalPauL I am going to do 10 of them. I will try to make that one my last. I have already done a few of his songs, but I have enough requests to do 10 more, so I will.
Sir, How about Tyler Farr :- Suffer in Peace. Did you hear that sir ? It's just like a antidote of Heartbreak's
Of course another great reaction brother and that had to be my favorite song him!
Thank you brother. I appreciate that. Absolutely. Such a cool song.
Great song, and it's all about breaking that cycle of crap relationships. Treat women right and show them what they deserve. Not what some douche pretends they deserve.
Amen, my brother. Couldn't agree more. Glad you enjoyed the song. I did as well. Thanks for the support. Much love to ya.
Like your randy orton shirt
Thank you brother. I appreciate it. I dig Randy.
Love your pure emotions and I can tell you really listen to the words that means so much to me. Please check out Carrie Underwood the champion
Thank you so much. I really appreciate that. Yes...music in a whole means a lot to me..all of it. Champion is on my list and on it's way up. Thank you for that. I appreciate it. Much love to ya.
Try Charlie Daniels "uneasy rider" reaction
I will put it on the list. Thank you. I appreciate it. Much love to ya.
NOT SURE ABOUT THIS ONE OR MAYBE I BETTER LISTEN TOO IT AGAIN . CONFUSED
Basically he's saying if you see a girl out there who is too inebriated, take her home and make sure she gets there safely. Don't take advantage of her and don't let anyone else do it either. Make sure she gets where she needs to be...and safely.
OK THANK YOU
@@pattricayoung9646 You're very welcome, ma'am. :-)
It's the 3 stages of the girls life. Her and her dad's relationship, her college relationship and meeting a real man later on.
Very cool. Loved this song.
I have 2 teenage girls and I always tell them not to date guys that don't treat them as good as their dad does. Also I think the little girl is the drunk girl all grown up. Much love.
I love that. You might be right. But I thought it was her daughter, since they went to the Daddy Daughter Dance together, and she was in the doorway when the little girl was trying on her little dress. I don't know...lol. Much love back to ya. :)
RANDY ORTON IS THE G.O.A.T.!
lol...well I don't know about the GOAT..but he's up there for sure...lol
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Could you please react to Tears by Jason Michael Carroll. As a father you will understand the message.
It's the same girl through out the video.
Thank you...yeah I was a little confused...lol
Birdman do Better Together by Luke Combs!!
I just put it on my list. I officially have enough for a Luke Combs countdown now too..lol. Might have to do that after Queen at some point.
What's really sad is that this song got very little air play and then disappeared! It was because a bunch of over-reactive feminists got offended because "women shouldn't need a man to save them. The situation should never have happened and she shouldn't need any man to help her. EVER!"
Well, you know what? Technically, that's true, it shouldn't happen. And people shouldn't be killed in car wrecks and there shouldn't be fires and there shouldn't be tornados, etc. "SHOULD" is meaningless! Things happen, people die and people get drunk in bars and need a decent human being to have their back! But because the song annoyed some group of jerks, it's message was silenced. It really sucks! (BTW, I'm a woman and believe in equality and everything, but if I did get stuck in a bad situation, I hope someone would help me out!)
And just for a lighter note - on the subject of "should or shouldn't" - I should have been born rich and look how THAT turned out, LOL!
You know what? You're right...that is sad. Because we all need help, no matter who we are or what we are. At some point, we all need help from someone, and no one should be too proud to accept it, no matter what sex, race, or sexual orientation we are. Thank you for the great words, and the support. Much love to ya.
React to Luke Combs 1,2, Many
It is on my list. Thank you, my friend. Much love to ya.
PLEASE LISTEN TOO BILLY'S CHRISTMAS WISH WHEN YOU HAVE TIME .
I will definitely check it out. But all my Christmas reactions are chosen and recorded though.
OK WHAT EVER BYE
@@pattricayoung9646 Are you upset about that? I'm sorry...I only have so much time and have had many Christmas requests.
I FOLLOW YOU AND SEVEN OTHERS AND HAVE FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. I HAVE NOW ASKED ALL OF YOU. AND NO ONE HAS PLAYED ANYTHING I ASKED THEM TOO. BUT IT'S OK .
@@pattricayoung9646 Christmas is a short holiday. I play them in a drawing to be fair with everyonr since there were so many. I want to make sure everything is fair. I'm sorry.
I’ve slept with drunk women, but it was never that. You have to understand the difference, that’s basic adulting, or being a man (as the song says). How a man can stand up after doing that is baffling; that’s a daughter, sister, wife… no.
Oh boy, not a fast paced or upbeat song. Expect the unexpected.
lol...one of the beautiful parts of doing this. :)
Yes the story is that she was raped on college.. Had the baby.. The guy at the end respected her..
I don't think that's right. Yes she was assaulted in college but she didn't get pregnant. The little girl in the beginning wasn't her daughter, it was HER! The story flipped back and forth between her as an adult and her as a child. The glasses she wore identified who she was.
@@PlumbPitiful it was her daughter. In the scene where little girl takes her to the father daughter dance.. You see it's her daughter.
