If i put these on a cloud storage file and share with coworkers -- is there any danger of corrupting the database if we use it at the same time? Say for instance, i create a material, and they modify that material while i have it open?

i recommend doing some testing. but last i heard this wasn't reliable. probably won't corrupt but you may loose new stuff you try to save.
so you should be fine if you're just distributing. but i wouldn't recommend having multiple people edit it at once.

I am afraid it's going to be extremely slow. I still have 2023.2.0, linked with old libraries and it takes ages to load.

or just lots of assets?
