+1, i don't understand how so many launchpad videos has millions of views when it plays 5 sounds when they press a single button
***** Or like, they learn these intricate fingerings but everything's just pre-mapped anyway / quantized so they don't have to play it perfectly in time. Or the samples they put in are super long so they can't really improvise on the fly.
In my mind it's kind of disingenuous to pretend that you're playing the song live when there's a ton of mapping done in the background, and also not to mention backing tracks. Either play everything live in user 1 mode, or do what madeon does and play in session mode, don't pre-script everything with midi...

much better than those other so-called "launchpad performances". Yes, I know that multiple synths and samples can be programmed into one button, but still..
I prefer this a whole lot more cause it actually shows which pads are being pressed, unlike making it look like some overly-glorified light show full of an unnecessary amount of pads activating without even being pressed.

What makes you so special among all the other Launchpad players is, that you do originals... You don't COVER a song, but make your own out of samples and that can't be done by just pressing button per button until the song is over, no you actually use the whole pad at the same time so it looks good, it does feel like you really PLAY it and not just have every sample lined up and press them one by one.
