The nod to Caleb was a beautiful touch as Caleb could have gone to college this year too. You can tell the donnellys are the real deal. We will miss Brennan!
Honeslty this reminded me that Brennan actually still cares and remembers because of how long it’s been I thought he would have kind of like moved and just cause he has had so many other friends and not think about him but this made me happy to see he still misses and cares about him
I'm glad to see the Donnelly's touch to Caleb, most importantly Brennan. It reminds you how long ago its been since he tragically passed but not only would Brennan have been going to college so would have Caleb if he'd still be alive this day. It's truthfully shocking to realize how much time has passed.
Never knew Caleb could have gone to college? Thought he was kaite year. So what he doing? Working I guess.

@@newr97y57 No Caleb Leblanc passed in 2015 from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. He was 13 when he passed. He would have turned 19 this past July. He would have been age 18 when he graduated though.
You know you raised your son right when he’s so loving towards his family. The way he hugs and kisses his mom and sister is precious. You’re raising amazing kids, Donnelly’s!!
I honestly feel the way he kind of pushed Jill away during that last kiss she gave him was because he was going to lose it and I don't think he wanted that. Although I wouldn't blame him if he did.

Seeing the baseball card of Caleb on Brennan"s desk reminded me of how long I have been watching the Donnelly vlogs. I was watching well before Calebs death. I have watched a large part of Brennans life and am so proud of the young man he has become. I cried like a baby. Happy Future Brennan!

@@nai2099 Caleb was a very close childhood friend. I believe that Katie met Caleb's sister Annie at gymnastics and they became forever friends. This friendship lead to many family outings with Annie's family and Brennan and Caleb were the same age. The boys hit it off. There was also a younger sister named Hailey (Bratayley family vlog) and of course Ryan. The parents became close friends especially the mothers.
Katie was on a sleepover at Annie's house when Caleb's mom tried to wake him up and he aparently had a cardiac episode and he died, he was 13.
His sudden unexpected death traumatized both families. Brennan has obviously kept Caleb close in his heart. This took place in 2015.

Seeing Caleb’s card on the desk made me cry, Brennen, Caleb, and I are all around the same age. I have been watching your videos forever so it made me so happy seeing that, Caleb and Brennan remain best friends forever.
I think they'll end up being brothers in laws down the track.

Thats crazy to think Caleb would have gone to college this year too if he was still here. I am crying at the thought of that but know hes proud. Brennan is going to have such a great time at college.

I think that was hardest thing seeing him and his mom him saying good bye had me in tears but you know he’s moveing on to bigger things in life and he’s makeing his parents proud
I am pregnant with our first, we want three-four kids, and seeing the close relationship these three have make me so so excited ❤️😊 also teared up when you drove away, I know the days will seem long but it will go by so fast!

I’ve watched these kids grow up and I’m crying over this, it’s such a big step to his future and the kids relationship is so strong.
Brennan should take advantage of the time in Community College to get to know some non-tradition (old) students. Hearing their stories about why they are back in college will help him focus on getting it done while he is young and single - at least that's how it worked for me.
Definitely I took the long road went to a four college for a year then went to a community college for a year. After that year went back to the same four year college for a year and half. I took sometime off to refocus of half a year. Went back to community college graduated with two associates degrees. I have been in my career for over 20 years.
Agreed! Non traditional students are the best because most are local and will always invite you home for dinner and holidays when you can’t make it home.
Who knows, they might also might be helpful in figuring out if maybe he should take a few years off. I was a non-traditional student, went back at 24, after focusing on myself, my mental health, and on figuring out what I really wanted out of life without the influence of my family... best decision I ever made.

I knew this would be an emotional video and it took me right back to when my sister moved out and it was just me and my parents at home. She was my best friend and the house seemed so quiet without her there. It took me a whole week to stop crying and to this day we are still the best of friends. Awwww, Donnelly family, this one got me in the feels. Have a blast Brennan, you've earned it.

Big adjustment, but he’s going to grow so much at FSU. St. Thomas More was my church for my four years there. I lived in the townhouses behind the church for three years. It’s a really beautiful church and I can’t wait to go back up to Tally to see the finished sanctuary! So many memories to come for Brennan!! Good luck
This made even me a bit emotional. When my sister went off to college (she was a year older than me,) I didn't feel anything because we hated each other. We still do! It's nice to see siblings who get along as well as these 3 do. It's refreshing! Both of them are definitely going to miss Brennan. Good luck with college, Brennan!
I have older twin brothers that I am very close! It was so hard for me when they moved away to college so I completely feel Katie. It made us grow even closer and you cherish time together so much more!!! ♥️♥️♥️

I teared up because I relate to this on personal level because I did this with my brother when he went to college so I know what it's like, you will miss him like crazy!
