- In todays crochet tutorial I will show you how to crochet these absolutely beautiful baby shoes or crochet Mary Janes style slippers for baby girls from 0-3 months to match the little dress and diaper cover set. You can also crochet them smaller or bigger by simply changing your hook size and making it in the exact same way as this tutorial. TO MAKE SMALLER OR BIGGER
NB use 2mm hook with Dk, 8ply or #3 yarn
0-3M use 3mm hook with Dk, 8ply or #3 yarn
3-6M use 3.5mm hook with Dk, 8ply or #3 yarn
6-9M use 4mm hook with Dk, 8ply or #3 yarn
9-12M I used 4.5mm hook with Dk, 8ply or #3 yarn
Materials used:
Baby dress = 165g of #3 yarn ( I used Premier Cotton Sprout)
Baby headband= 9g of #3 yarn ( I used Premier Cotton Sprout)
Diaper cover = 71g of #3 yarn ( I used Premier Cotton Sprout)
Baby shoes = 33g of #3 yarn ( I used Premier Cotton Sprout)

Glad you like my tutorials 🙏🏻😊 it’s hard to say because #4 yarn is thicker so the only thing I can think of is using a smaller hook than what I use so the stitch is smaller but even then it may still be slightly bigger and it might be difficult to work with a smaller hook and thicker yarn. I’m so sorry I can’t be of much help but I’ll try to make more things with thicker yarn in the future 😉
Did you mean 4ply In British terms or #4 yarn which has 4 strands in the US? Sorry 😣 if you mean in British then just use 2 strands since it’s thinner and make it in the exact same way with same hook size. I hope this helps 😊
@@CrochetForBabythank u sara for the reply. 4 ply means 4 threads together n don't come to much thick, i think it is ok with 3mm hook or 3.5mm coz in india mostly this type of projects r made with 3 ply or 4 ply n thanks ones again for your valuable help. ❤🙏

How to make croche shoes smaller they are to big for newborn I’ve done on 3.5 crochet hook
Why did you use a 3,5mm? I mentioned in the video to use a 3mm for 0-3M. If you want it for nb use a 2.5mm hook.
