A lithography technology called SSMB-EUV has recently created a buzz in China. There are claims that China can build an "EUV factory" to replace ASML's EUV lithography machines, circumventing US sanctions through an innovative approach. Is that ture?

The US has poked the dragon sufficiently that the dragon has decided to unleash its immense power.
In terms of technological advances, the writing is on the wall, China will dominate, full spectrum. Naturally, there are areas, EUV being one, where China still lags. But that won’t last. These will fall one after another given the pace China has been making advances.
We can easily site examples where China has broken through: space station and space in general, global positioning system, HSR, EV, green tech and of course manufacturing. China has clearly taken leadership positions in these areas.
By nature, the Chinese people are industrious, disciplined, pragmatic and humble. They are more about getting things done and wasting time yakking and boasting. Culturally, education is cherished, living harmoniously is expected and the whole is more important than the individuals.
This is in stark contrast to the west: aggressive, manipulative, constant bickering, extremely individualistic to the detriment of the whole, nonstop yakking, boasting and lecturing of others.
Given these cultural differences, it’s not hard to see why China is able to get things done much faster. Not to say countries in the west don’t get things done, they do, but they don’t have the same efficiency and pace due to their cultural constraints.
Of course, it also helps to have 1.4 billion people with high level of education. And the fact that the majority of them have faith in the job their government has been and is doing.
    Cheers to China!

The scalability to smaller wavelength, such as 8nm or smaller, is a big plus. Consider ASML's next generation of high-NA (0.55NA) EUV machines: It's depth of focus will be reduced by a factor of 0.36. On the other hand, by simply scaling the wavelength down to 8nm without changing the NA, the resolution will equal ASML's high-NA machine, while the depth of focus is reduced only by a factor of 0.6.

    Clearly explained!
    One question though.
They bunch up the electrons to get coherent light. But you also said continuous light is one advantage of the technology.
To me, those two things doesn't go together.
I would like further elaboration about that.
I would also like to know what power they think they will get. Although, they might like to keep that a secret for now.
I like this approach. I have wondered if this wasn't the way to go for a couple of years. Nice to see the Chinese now doing this.
The USA economic and technological war is highly disturbing to me. And I therefore want to see China succed with this.
Those who support the USA with their efforts to supress China deserve to be put in place. And the USA isn't bothered by their "friends" being killed off. They want to bring the semiconductor industry back to the USA, so they probably see this as a good thing. Taiwan, the Netherlands, and South Korea be dammed!
The upheaval of the semiconductor industry now happening is the USA's fault! But since the industry played along with it, they deserve to get some of the fall-outs!

Chief amongst theml is the ability for the US to sell its debt. Unlike in 2008 when China stepped in to help save the west’s financial troubles, this time around China will not do it. I don't know why Lisa wears such thick jacket and long sleeve during summer to make this video. The armpit skin is enclosed between the arms already so there is no room to breathe and for armpit sweat to evaporate. It is hot and the armpits sweat a lot.

She is Chinese and as such she does not need to worry about sweaty armpits due to total lack of body odor caused by mutation to the ABCC11 gene! In fact in ancient Chinese literature (healthy) women's sweat is mostly referred to as fragrant! Here is poem by Li He of Tang Dynasty: 罗袖从徊翔,香汗沾宝粟. Here is a passage from Dreams of Red Chamber:引的宝钗蹑手蹑脚的,一直跟到池边滴翠亭上,香汗淋漓,娇喘细细!
