A leap into the future with the new Speedmaster 2020 generation

- The new Speedmaster 2020 generation opens a new chapter in technological intelligence and automation. Optimized processes, closed automation gaps, all this makes sheetfed offset printing even more attractive, more economical and therefore more competitive.
With the new generation of Speedmaster presses, which are now available worldwide, elements of artificial intelligence are being incorporated into print production. For example, individual jobs are optimized in sequence to minimize makeready times. A digital workflow makes it possible to track the status of each press and each job. This applies not only to the press but also to postpress, which now also works with the push-to-stop concept.
The new Speedmaster XL 106 has been undergoing field tests at Aumüller Druck in Regensburg since last fall.

What happen to the primefire, is that completely scrapped? Also are you ever thinking about changing your UV bulbs to a LED like AMS. In closing dont see how this would reduce my MR time changing packing on all units that will be printing, then add cold foil and 2 coatings cant see it saving much time.

The MR times are depending on the machine configuration and the jobs. The higher the complexity the higher the make ready times. The influence on the LED lamps on the make ready times are the saving of heating and cooling phases in comparison with UV drying technology.
